Robledo de Chavela is a municipality of Madrid which preserves the taste of traditional village but with all services (supermarkets, cinemas, shops, restaurants, medical center, train station). It is located in an area of natural beauty between the Sierra de Guadarrama and the Sierra de Gredos, just 15 km from San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Heritage). Its privileged location makes it the ideal starting point to visit Madrid, Segovia, Avila and Toledo, as it is right in the center of all of them and within walking distance of each. It is visited mainly by their nature, with nooks and paths ideal both to enjoy a quiet day in the field to make long excursions on foot, by bicycle or on horseback. Birding (imperial eagles, hawks, black vultures ...) is another highly appreciated activity for being classified as ZEPA (Zone of Special Protection of Birds). Other attractions are the Gothic church of the XV century, with its altarpiece and paintings of dragons unheard or NASA space station, unique in Europe, which can be accessed.
