About Corinne Littlewood

Jason and I have owned Tree lodge since 2007, it is our family holiday home, we love it and visit whenever we can.

I have a busy worklife and family life. I am part of a big family with 3 sisters and to press we have 4 children between us.

We enjoy famly time at the lodge and we find it a great getaway for adult time aswell.

We are only just an hour away near Manchester.

Myself and my sisters and our children go up whenever it is free, the rest of the time I spend doing jobs and keeping it just the way I like it, every year we have a project to keep it up to date.

Enjoy

Why Corinne Littlewood chose Windermere & Central Lakes

The lake are fantastic a different environment from the hustle and bustle of commercial life.

Its the perfect break for us it is the equivalent of the dessert island in the unspoilt beautiful countryside of the lake district.

Yet it is so near, only an hour for us. The lodge is situated in the prime of the Lakes you feel secluded but you have all the amenities/activities on your doorstep should you want them.

What makes this cabin unique

We think it is the best plot on the site as it is so private and you forget you are on a holiday park it feels more like an individaul lake district retreat with just us and the national park on our doorstep.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Just returned home from your lodge which was beautiful, can't fault it at all. We really enjoyed our weekend. We will be recommending it to friends and family

Regards

Liz

I would like to thank you for such a lovely week at Tree Lodge recently – it is in a perfect location for a family holiday and was very comfortable and well equipped.

With best wishes

Sarah

Just wanted to say we had a great time last week, the lodge and setting was fantastic, we didn't want to leave !

Had loads of days out and did plenty of hill and lake walks, boat trips, etc. Even the weather was good!

We hope to stay again soon !

Thanks again

Best Regards,

Andy

Great property and site

  • 4 of 5

Well kept and good looking property that had great facilities both in the lodge and the park. Being at the back of the park offered quieter location but further to walk to the site facilities. The pool is great and staff were really good. However you do pay extra for the pool which is £15 for the whole party for the length of the stay which isn't too bad if there's plenty of you and you are staying a reasonable length of time.

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

We are just home from a fantastic stay at Tree Lodge. On arrival the heating was on and the lodge lovely and warm! A beautiful cozy lodge with everything you can need and more, we would love to return in the summer to enjoy the outside decking. The park itself is great, the kids (age 7/9/3 months) really enjoyed the swimming pool. The newly refurbished club was great, kids enjoyed the games. We ate at a lovely local restaurant - the Talbot Bar (at the Skelwith Bridge Hotel) - 10 minute drive and also had a lovely Chinese takeaway from the Golden Mountain. Walked into Windermere Bowness for a lake cruise (2hr walk!). Thanks Corinne :)

Wonderful winter weekend in Windermere

  • 5 of 5

High quality fixtures and fittings, with comfortable beds and lots of space. Terrific views, not overlooked and far enough from the marina to go for a nice walk. Windermere nearby and Whitecross Bay itself a lovely holiday park with everything you would want for your stay. All staff, very helpful and friendly as were the owners themselves. Would definitely go back - highly recommended!

hi, we have stayed for six nights in April and we found the lodge very clean and cosy, with everything needed.ideal place to visit the lakes and the surroundings.the lodge surrounded with wonderful nature ,birds humming,we were pleased to see two deer in the morning near our lodge.it was fantastic. The only thing that we were disappointed was the WiFi,was weak.we were two couples with a child 8yrs and and a girl 13 yrs.We highly recommend this lodge. We hope we could come again . regards and thanks.Raymond and maria from Malta.

Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing week staying in this lodge.....it really was home from home.

With children aged 10, 8, 7 and 1 we couldn't have asked for more......we even got lucky with the weather.

We will definitely be back :-)
