Myself (Mike) and my wife Yvonne are now both retired and we really enjoy being able to share our home with our guests. Its been a real pleasure letting the cottage as a holiday let and we have met some wonderful people, some who return year after year. Each year we try to add something extra to the cottage to make our guests experience even more pleasurable. We try and offer as personal service as possible with our guests and like to handle all enquiries and bookings directly. Mike & Yvonne Brown

Why Owner chose Saltdean
The sea and countryside views from the house are what attracted us as well as its location being close to Brighton and the South Downs. We also found it to be an extremely adaptable house being able to accommodate up to 6-8 people. Also its quiet location with no hassle for parking etc yet very accessible for exploring Sussex..

Great house, Perfect location !
What a fabulous place to stay!
We visited Panorama in August and had a fantastic holiday. This beautiful house was exactly as it looked in the photos. Clean, bright, modern yet welcoming, homely and very spacious and well equipped.
Our group included 7 people of various ages and we all had a great time. The house had plenty of room to accommodate us all and we all enjoyed sitting out in the sun on the 2 patio areas - beautiful view of the sea. The lovely garden was spacious and was enjoyed by the children (playing football) and the dogs (also playing football !) The large garden was fully enclosed making it suitable for the dogs and our youngest to play out there safely.
Saltdean is a perfect location for visiting places nearby - Brighton, Lewes, Birling Gap, Seven Sisters and fantastic for walkers - lovely walks in each direction along the coastal paths.
For younger children there is a lovely park within walking distance and the Lido is now open. The water was warm and the lawned area was perfect for relaxing in the sun.
There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the surrounding area but Rottingdean is especially nice and within walking distance.
Great house, Great location, Great holiday. Highly recommended.
Really pleased Jeanette that you all enjoyed your stay at Panorama and that Saltdean was the perfect location for your family holiday - would be great to have you all back again!!
Great family holiday home
Lovely property, lots of room for the whole family including the dogs. Clean and modern. Shops close by and a 10 minute walk to the front and the Lido. Need a car to get into Brighton. The home owners were very organised and punctual with instructions etc.
I am really pleased you liked the house and found it had plenty of space for you all and that you also liked its location including the proximity to the newly restored Saltdean Lido!
very nice home and holiday
We had a very nice stay in this house and Saltdean.
The house was light and airy and was very well equipped with outside facilities that matched.
We loved Saltdean and Rottingdean, the latter is a very nice village with pubs, restaurants and a varity of shops.
We loved the undecliff walk to Brighton and the bus service there and Eastbourne.
All in all a great week and the weather was amazing too!!
Thank you so much Adrian for your kind review and especially for highlighting to future guests what a good location the house is in with Saltdean and Rottingdean close by and Brighton not far away and its possible to walk there along the undercliff promenade.
practical and very comfortable with lovely views
The house was very much as advertised: a well-maintained, up-to-date cottage which turned out to be very suitable for our needs. We were two couples and there was plenty of space for us all. The terrace which had great views was very sunny at breakfast time, and if you needed more sun in the afternoon, there was another terrace below.
The cottage is well-equipped and very clean. Plenty of on-street parking.
I would certainly recommend it to friends and family.
Thank you so much for your kind review and pointing out the fact that the house has spacious accommodation ideal for 2 couples and the sun terraces mean you can enjoy your stay without having to leave the house and gardens!
The house was clean, well equipped, modern and stylish; the views from the balcony are wonderful and we spent many happy mealtimes out there. The owner was very helpful with any enquiries and it was a great base for outings to Brighton, Newhaven, Lewes and Worthing, as the bus services are very good.I would recommend it as a family house as the two bathrooms are very handy, but care would have to be taken with very young children as the garden has many steps.
There are plenty of shops, eating places and interesting towns nearby. Unfortunately the lido at Salt Dean is being renovated this year, but we loved Rottingdean, ten minutes walk away, which has many good pubs and tearooms, a lovely old CE church and a Catholic church.
There is also a park 5 minutes downhill from the house which is great for games for children.
Thank you so much for your review and the very useful info for future guests!
Beautiful spotless house near Brighton
We stayed here in the May half term with four teenage boys and my husband and I. What first struck me was how clean it was and for me that is half the battle. All bedrooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. There was a bathroom upstairs and downstairs, a modern kitchen which supplied everything you needed for your stay and more even a cafetier, brilliant.
The garden was the wow factor. The decking with that beautiful view of the sea was heaven and was used even in our lovely British climate.
The house was in Saltdean which was about 40 minutes walk along the promenade to Brighton Marina which has a huge Asda and also bowling, cinema and many many restaurants another 40 mins will take you to Brighton.
We took our retriever Charlie and all round Brighton they accept dogs in pubs and there are too many walks to mention. Would I return absolutely it was fantastic for the boys who spent most of their time in Brighton and on the beach and for us it was so relaxing. Mike, the owner, made it easy booking from start to finish. We had a great time thank you
