We built these flats with the intention of using them as our own holiday homes in addition to letting them out. We chose Cromer as we wanted a place near the sea which was not too far away from where we live. Cromer was the ideal seaside place for us as it offers all the amenities within walking distance yet is not too crowded and still retains it charm. Cromer is a small seaside town that became popular in victorian times. It is situated in North Norfolk and has a pier, museums, wide open beaches, spectacular cliffs and a cinema. It is close to Sheringham which is another lovely seaside town and Holt a picturesque market town. In addition an short car, bus or rail journey will take you into the busy city of Norwich.

This means there are pubs, restaurants, shops, museums, a cinema and cafes close by. In addition there is a large supermarket a five minute walk away. We have been to this apartment two years in a row and hope to return for a third in 2017. The apartment is centrally located with shops, the beach, restaurants and children's entertainment within walking distance. We have always visited in the October half term when Cromer is generally quieter but we love the long blustery walks on the beach, crabbing in the rock pools and a visit to the beachfront museum is a must.
Enjoyed every minute of our stay. The apartment is located in a very handy place just minutes walk from everywhere. The low tide apartment is a very good size, large master bedroom and a large twin room with pull out bed. The apartment was clean and tidy and the owner had even left us milk, tea, coffee and cake.
We are very sorry to be leaving and wish we could stay for longer, Even the weather has been good for February.
We enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. The apartment is great. It had everything we needed and is located close to the town and beach.
This place is really superb overall. There are 4 of us (2 kids aged 4 and 6) and with 2 bedrooms, a bath,it is really useful. There is ample room for the daughters in their own room, a large bathroom that actually has a bath, a good size open plan kitchen/lounge with enough seats.
They have a tv, dvd and have a small selection of films/books (my daughters have watched Avengers every day!) The owners are kind enough to leave selection of buckets, boards, spades and equipment for the beach.
it's in a quite street literally 2 streets from the front, which is brilliant for families. you can sit on the beach and take stuff back or collect your sandwiches without having to take everyting with you at once (like many other places). Because its central you can walk around at night (Cromer is lovely place) or sit on the beach, try your look in the arcades.
Cromer has some great places for kids and some more within 30 mins drives (wizard maze was great fun and Bewilderwood is great outdoor kids place).
Having a parking space in town is very rare, it meant we didnt have to keep driving and paying! We have already been here twice and anticipate a 3rd time!!!
Enjoyable stay. Great to be so close to the seafront, supermarket and the station. Good parking.
Nice apartments in a fairly quiet residential street about 5 mins walk from the seafront and less to the town centre. We stayed in the upstairs one and there is plenty of room for 4 people and was clean and well presented. The soundproofing must be pretty good as we didn't realise anyone was staying below us till halfway through the week. The owners were prompt in replying and would have no hesitation about staying again if we visit Cromer in the future.
The blue flag beach is less than 500m or a 5 minute walk away. It is very popular in the summer with children enjoying playing in the rock pools trying to catch the famous Cromer crabs. The pier is also a well known landmark and enjoyed by tourists. Along the seafront there are shops, cafes and amusements. In addition 2012 brings a surf school to Cromer.
Norwich has the nearest major airport and is approximately a 30m drive away. The properties are easily accessed via road or rail as both the bus and rail stations are located a 5 minute walk away. These offer a regular service to Norwich and connectioning routes to and from London.
Cromer town centre is a 5 minute walk away providing access to shops, restaurants, cinema, theatre and supermarkets. A 15 minute car journey will take you to the seaside town of Sheringham and the market towns of Holt, Aylsham & North Walsham. Wroxham, at the heart of the Norfolk Broads, is also only a 40 minute drive away. The busy city of Norwich is approximately a 30minute drive away. Please note, a car is not essential as Cromer benefits from good rail & bus services.
Most amenities are within walking distances including theatre, cinema, pubs, restaurant, beach, supermarket and pitch and putt course. Cromer Royal Golf course is only a short drive away, as is the stately homes of Blickling, Felbrigg & Holkham Hall. In addition, 'Splash' leisure pool at Sheringham, the 'Wizard Adventure Maze' at Metton & the 'Amazona Zoo' near Cromer provide a variety of family entertainment.
