Guestbook comments from the owner

We have just returned from a lovely weekend away staying at Half Pint Cottage. I wanted to thank you and congratulate you on the fantastic restoration you have accomplished; the cottage was just perfect! Michael. April 2012

We had a lovely stay...roamed as far as Broadway and as near as Painswick and enjoyed our brief introduction to the Cotswolds. The cottage was perfect, inclement weather only helped as it was lovely to light the fire and make dinner in the cosy kitchen, whilst planning the next day...John and Andrea,May2012

Well what can I say, Half Pint Cottage is a delight. We enjoyed our stay very much, I dont think you will have any problem renting it again and again and I hope that future guests enjoy it as much as we did. Pat enjoyed his tour around the Cotswolds and I got to visit Woodchester Mansion and Gloucester Cathedral for the first time ever! Jacki August 2012

Cute and comfortable cottage

  • 5 of 5

We spent a long weekend at the 'half pint' cottage and absolutely loved it. The cottage is small but plenty for a couple.

It is a really great spot for exploring the Cotswolds. We were particularly fond of the walk from Selsley Common to Coaley Peak (superb view point) and onwards to Woodchester Park.

Selsley (just outside Stroud) is a small village with nice views across valleys on both sides. There is a really nice and friendly local pub (The Bell) with some of the best pub food we've had.

We hope to return soon.

Great stay

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time at the Half Pint cottage. It was well placed for exploring the Cotswolds, well equipped, clean and tidy. The only downsides are the lack of parking and although warned re the stairs they are very steep so not suitable for elderly or impaired. All in all we had a really good stay and would recommend to anyone
