My husband Mike and I fell in love with Medina during our first holiday in 2006 and our daughter Michelle shortly after. My parents were Italian from the south and I immediately felt at home with the local Spanish community. Having studied Spanish at 'A' Level standard (many years ago!), it has been easy for me to communicate and even learn the local dialect! We mainly socialise with our Spanish friends and as we all enjoy cooking, spend many evenings dining on our terrace creating Italian/Spanish dishes. For a few years I made and sold Italian sauces at farmers markets.I always bring some jars with me to Medina to share with our friends and you may find one included in your welcome basket! We invite you to relax in our home Sueños (dreams) and dream your own dreams........ Marina purchased this House in 2010
Why Marina chose Medina-Sidonia
The magnificent views and having an upstairs terrace which cannot be overlooked. As the only non Spanish family in our immediate area,we enjoy being part of the community and truly enjoy a complimentary lifestyle to the one we enjoy in the UK where we live in Kent.
What makes this House unique
One of the best views in Medina https://www.facebook.com/marinamargiotta.medinasidonia

Lovely property in a quaint Andalucian town
We had a wonderful time in Medina-Sidonia. Marina is a thoughtful and welcoming host, paying attention to all the small details from the welcome basket to the robes and slippers. The property is well located allowing for easy one-day trips all through Andalucia and the coast. Highly recommended.
Thank you and hope you return one day : )
Lovely house with amazing views
Very comfortable house, with many extra touches not normally found in rental properties. Enjoyed our sundowners on the balcony watching the sun setting, followed by strolls into the town to one of the local bars. Medina is a typical Spanish town with a good selection of restaurants. Easy access to Cádiz, Jerez, Vejer and many wonderful beaches, couldn’t believe how quiet the roads are in that area, might be different in the height of summer though! Marina provides lots of very useful information before you arrive and always answers any queries very promptly. Highly recommend.
Thank you Mandy & David for being lovely guests : )
High standards but relaxed
Great information and great place.
Perfect property in perfect location
This was by far the nicest holiday rental property we’ve ever stayed in. It is clearly a much loved house and has been furnished and decorated throughout with care and style and great attention to detail, whilst still being comfortable and with every possible need catered for, including a very well equipped kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean and all the towels, bed linen etc were of excellent quality. The uninterrupted views from the terraces are amazing and we spent a lot of time working out the names of the towns we could see on the coast (we identified Cadiz from the bridge) and of course watching the beautiful sunsets. As there were only two of us, we especially enjoyed having a bathroom each! The main bedroom is huge and opens onto the upper terrace. It has plenty of hanging space and storage and a very comfortable bed – I have lower back problems but didn’t get a single twinge for the entire stay. The house is in a quiet residential street in the highest part of the town with a quick and easy walk down to the town square (lots of steps) and a more strenuous walk back up! Worth it though and we can recommend the friendly service and good value food at Paco Ortega on the main square. The house is also easy walking distance to the castle ruins and the church, both well worth a visit. Medina Sidonia seems to be a typical Spanish town and is lovely and unspoilt. It’s very well located and within 30-40 minutes you can be in Jerez, Cadiz, Vejer, Arcos and at any number of beautiful beaches. We especially enjoyed the ruins of the Romanian town Baelo Claudia, next to the beach at Bolonia. Marina has supplied a folder with lots of useful information and advice. Marina is a dream to deal with – quick to reply and goes the extra mile to make sure everything is OK and answer any questions. The comments book shows that many guests are regular visitors – we can understand why and hope to return again ourselves in the future.
Many thanks for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. You are delightful to liaise with and looked after our home beautifully.

Maintaining a classical Andalusian appearance, the main square which is 2 minutes walk away is where children play, old men congregate and women exchange 'the news of the day'. As the meeting place of the town with restaurants, bars, shops and banks it hums with the daily bustle of local life. For further shopping, visit Jerez, Cadiz and Seville.
