A two bedroom ground floor apartment located within a private complex. The apartment is near to the communal pool if you want a lazy day or within easy reach of the beach which is the most well known on the island of Menorca. The apartment has a small terrace which offers privacy to enjoy al fresco dining and a glass of wine to watch the sun setting.

The kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge with small freezer plus a microwave and all the standard utensils for dining in. The recently refurbished bathroom has a walk in shower and modern facilities. Should the need arise there is a washing machine available.

Son Bou - San Jaime is the longest sandy beach on the island of Menorca. About 2km of fine golden sand making the beach ideal for families and sun worshippers. It has three beach bars. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for hire. Water sports are available. The beach is served by lifeguards.

Whilst the main resort/beach area is about a 10 minute walk, car hire is recommended as resort supermarkets can be expensive.


The island has one airport which is about 15 minutes from the resort of Son Bou. You can arrange a taxi or pick up a hire car. A car is generally recommended to explore this beautiful island. It is advisable to book your hire car in advance to get a better deal. A list of names can be provided.


There are many special places to see whilst staying on the island. Alaior the nearest old Spanish village in the middle of the island, and during the summer hosts a number of traditional festivals. (10 mins drive) Ciudadella the ancient capital with palaces and cathedral at the other end of the island.( 40 minutes drive) Old town Mahon with its great harbour and visiting sea faring yachts. ( 25 minutes drive).

Further Details:

There are a couple of small resort supermarkets in Son Bou or Alaior has larger stores offering better variety including bakery and more economical.

Son Bou has a number of places to eat offering a wide variety of choice of food. Alaior also has a number of restuarants inluding banks and local shops - for further shopping visit Mahon which now boast an IKEA!

Notes on accommodation: Smoking is only permitted on the terrace area. Outside: The large terrace has patio table and 4 chairs and cushioned sun loungers with a further two cushioned cane chairs. The terrace is south facing and there is an awning is shade is required throughout the day. Amazing sunsets to watch whilst sipping that glass of wine. Pretty tranquil gardens that are well cared with numerous plants. No need to move from terrace for that lazy holiday. Utility Room: washing machine is located in the small hallway cupboard housing hot water tank Steam Iron and Ironing Board Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Apartment prepared for arrival, bed linen and towels supplied but not beach towels. There is a hairdryer and a small safe available for use by guests

Beautiful views in stunning location

Just returned from a lovely week in apartment G5. The break was booked at very short notice and we were greeted with very good customer service.

The apartment is based in a beautiful resort of the island. The apartment is ground floor with an authentic Mediterranean style through out. However a lovely modern new walk in shower bathroom recently fitted. The apartment is within a block of friendly holiday makers. The apartment is based on a hilltop which does have access stairs down to the town but no advised for those who gave walking difficulties. A car is advised as you can explore the beautiful island.

If you are looking for outstanding views and pure relaxation G5 is the place for you.

Changeover day can be flexible even through peak season.
Arrivals after 3pm and departure by 10am.
The apartment generally sleeps 4 however there is a double sofa bed.
If you require additional guests then a charge for the use additional linens etc..will be agreed with you. Additional guests request are subject to the owners agreement at the point of enquiry.
