Set over two floors with panoramic sea views and over 60 sqm of terrace space

This luxurious duplex penthouse is situated on the top two floors of a cliff-side sea facing building located in the prestigious Elviria neighborhood of Marbella. With two master bedrooms on separate floors, and FOUR terraced balconies, it is ideal for families or even two couples with the bedrooms each located on a separate floor. The apartment is located less than 5 minutes from the sea and golf course and 15 minutes from Puerto Banus.

The apartment enjoys gorgeous sea views during the day and breathtaking night time views of the moon and stars at night. In addition to the Mediterranean, the iconic Don Carlos Hotel is visible from the terrace, as well as the Santa Maria Golf course clubhouse.

The apartment is a duplex penthouse with two master bedrooms. On the top floor is the first Master with en-suite bathroom and a balcony with dual sea/mountain views, one from each side. This room has a walk in closet area with 4 closets.

The space:

The second bedroom is on the ground floor with its own en-suite bathroom‎ and again private terrace with a mountain view. There are two large closets and the bathroom is equipped with a toilet, bidet and shower and bath.

The palacial stairwell connecting the two floors has access to yet another mezzanine terrace of its own, as well as several windows. The best kept secret of this flat is sleeping with both the stairwell window and terrace door open‎ mid air. An unforgettable wind-tunnel effect is created which provides the most romantic air-conditioned free night. (There is a central AC and heating as well of course).

The neighbourhood

Elviria has been long reputed as the number one location to stay in Marbella. The flat is under 5 minutes from Nikki Beach and the Don Carlos hotel, and is located on the the third most prestigious golf course‎ in Andalucia, the Santa Maria Golf Course. Elviria was chosen by Nikki Beach for the establishment of their iconic Spanish Branch because of its long shallow beaches but more importantly because it is one of the beaches in the Marbella facing south-west, with the sunset directly over the sea. (most face east and result in having to rotate your sunbed 360 degress over the course of the day to continue facing the sun!

The flat comes with parking so please do rent a car! Surrounding area

Our flat in Marbella is the perfect location for a week or month long stay on the mediterranean. An ideal one week stay could consist of the following:

Day one - Nikki Beach located 5 mins away. Dance on the beach with world famous DJS, class food and irresistable cocktails. Don't make dinner plans afterwards, as the music continues well into the night and leaving Nikkis early is easier said than done!

Day Two - The world famous Puerto Banus Marina (15 minutes away). Again don't plan on leaving early as the port is the place to be both day and night. Here you can see some of the most expensive yachts and vehicles in the world, as well as shop at luxury boutiques such as Tom Ford, Loro Piana and others. The Top rated restaurants are located here!

Day Three - Located just over an hour away, the colonial, historical, controversial, and magical peninsula of Gibraltar (one hour away) makes a perfect day outing. Land on the rock is so scarce one literally has to drive over the neatly situated airport runway to get to town! (somewhat similar to driving over train tracks). A mild exercise day is created should you decide to ascend mountain fof gibraltar, and the hike is rewarded with unforgettable views and local monkeys and other wildlife..

Day Four- Tarifa. This charming medieval Mediterranean town is located at the Cape of the iberian peninsula, where the mediteranean meets the Atlantic. A trip here is rewarded with breathtaking views, and a picturesque sunset.

Day Five - Malaga! Home of Pablo Picasso and Sangria! In Malaga you can visit his home and museum, and eat some of the greatest Paella and Sangria in the world.

The list goes on, you'll probably just end up bumming by the beach and soaking up the sunshine, but if you did manage to make it through days 1-5, then be lazy on days 6 and 7 and enjoy!‎ Or play some golf!

Some evening ideas include the world famous Olivia Valere nightclub (10 minutes from CV), designed as a Plush Moroccan Palace with several indoor and outdoor areas, this place is by far the best nightclub in Marbella. Doors open at midnight and shut at 7 AM!

La Sala is another great restaraunt/lounge/bar, and La Rancha at the Don Carlos is the place to go for a night of Salsa Dancing! Message me for more details based on your individual preferences and I will give you the advice required.

For those of you who are staying for longer than a week‎, the following trips are recommended:

1- Sevilla (two hours away) - the home of flamenco dancing and bullfighting, Sevilla will not disappoint you with the lack of new experiences!

2-‎ Grenada (two hours away) - home to the Alhambra, the ancient Moorish Palace, a trip here is a trip back to the middle ages!

3- Tangiers (two hours away) however one of those hours will be on a ferry to Africa. This one is for the more adventurous airbnbers. The two hour trip will take you to the Atlantic trading post in Morocco where an exhilarating culture shock awaits.

4- Algarve Portugal (3 hours away - night stay recommended). Swim in colorful caved lagoons with crystal clear water.

5- Ronda - Mountain fortress located an hour away. Great hiking, architecture and views.

For those of you visiting during non summer months, there are 65 golf courses within an hours drive and the best one a few minutes walk from the apartment!

For winter golfers, stay a bit longer and make the 2 hour drive to the Sierra Nevada mountain range and stay a night there and two days of skiing. Located 4000m above sea level with brilliant sunshine, the Sierra Nevada is King Juan's piste of choice!!!

Spacious comfortable apartment

This unit has a property manager. He is British and lives in Spain. It was very easy to communicate with him. He took us to the unit and explained everything. The major pros of this space are 1.Parking space 2. Elevator building 3.View with terraces 4. Fully functional kitchen 5. Closthes and dishwasher.

I would stay here again. Would work fine for kids as there is an upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The wifi was very good as well. I would recommend you bring your own towels. There were some there but nothing you would want to take to the beach. As an American I was not used to the little bathtub shower stall set up, but I would not take any stars away overall. Everyone was responsive to our needs and tried to make us happy. It's about 40min from Malaga and 15 min from Marbella. If you like Nikki beach it's right down the road. Overall great experience.
