The villa is well maintained and is located on the waterfront of Esposende, with views of the Cávado River and the sea. The beach is a distance of 5 minutes walk, while for the city center, just 10 minutes walk.

Esposende and its surroundings: Esposende is a quiet town in northern Portugal. This municipality extends over 14 km of coastline and it fits in an area of ​​natural beauty, possessing some of the best beaches in the North of Portugal; all inserted in the Protected Landscape Area of ​​the Esposende Coast (North Coast Natural Park).

Establishes the contact between the river, the sea and the mountain. Esposende is bordered to the north by the municipality of Viana do Castelo, on the east by Barcelos, the South by Povoa de Varzim and the west by the Atlantic Ocean. The gastronomy of Esposende is also rich with great maritime influence. You can enjoy: river and ocean beaches, sports activities, historical heritage, good food and a renowned nightlife. All this suggests holiday fun guaranteed, regardless of the company.

The city is composed of 15 parishes and is located in the district of Braga. The local saint holiday is August 19.

Fantastic Home and Location

We recently stayed in this home for about week. The home is very comfortable and has lots of room. The location of this home is great. It is just a few short steps to the beach and a short walk to downtown Esposende. It is also very convenient to all the major highways for taking trips to go explore Portugal. This will be a place we will return to in 2014 when visit Portugal again. The owner of the home was very easy to work with and very helpful any time we had a question.

Great stay

We really enjoyed the time in your house.

3 great things :

1) location, near the beach (directly behind the bridge).

2) the size of the house and completeness of the stuff inside (like dishwasher and enough plates /spoons etc). Place to park the car.

3) Nice area to visit with children.

One thing that didn't help in sleeping was the foghorn/sirene on the beach that kept us awake (there was no fog in the week we stayed, but the sirene went of 4/7 days/nights). After a week this was less anoying...

But like we said we really enjoyed the stay at your villa and now have good memories about the week we stayed, but as allways there's one downside.

Esposende extends over 14 km of coastline, framing in the Protected Landscape Area. Its limits are Viana do Castelo, Barcelos, Povoa de Varzim and the Atlantic Ocean. You can enjoy: river and ocean beaches, sports activities, historical heritage, good food and a renowned nightlife.

Golf: The golf course at Quinta da Barca is implanted on the right bank of the river Cávado 3 km from the mouth. 2 km from the course is a connection to the A28 linking the Portoà Galicia. It is a nine-hole course that requires some strategy game, and is Par 31 on more than 2. 012 meters. Its relevant points are the 'Greens' rolling, the bunkers strategically located and three lakes to ensure the game more challenging and eyes a memorable landscape.
