About the property

Self contained, newly refurbished, 2 bedroom house close to the beach

Modern, newly created annex attached to characterful Victorian main house. Great location a short walk to the beach. Plenty of secure parking on the gravel drive. Private patio with summer chairs, fire pit and BBQ.

Second bedroom beds can be configured as two singles or zipped together as a double.

Inside there is a bright comfortable lounge / kitchen / diner on the ground floor with a large shower room and two good size bedrooms on the first floor.

The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom can be configured with a double or twin beds.

There are two beaches close by and plenty of water sports such as kayaking, kite surfing, wind surfs, sea fishing etc

Guest access

Plenty of parking space. Easy self check in (if we are not around).

Interaction with guests

We respect your privacy but are on hand if you need anything.

The neighbourhood

The Avenues is a posh area of Exmouth elevated from the town at the west end of the beach.

Getting around

Walking is the big thing here but there are regular bus services, a new, fun road train and great links to the cycle path to Lympstone, Topsham and Exeter

Geoff & Karen purchased this house in 2012

Why Geoff & Karen chose Exmouth

Purchased in 2012 and in need of lots of TLC, we have completely renovated and modernised this characterful Victorian property and brought it right up to date but retained as much of the character as possible. We have created a self contained two bedroom 'annex' to the rear of the main property and this is available for holiday rentals. Great location, a short walk to the beach and a 1m walk into town for all the shops, bars and restaurants.

We would highly recommend DevonAir....a great place to stay!

We stayed in DevonAir for three nights with our two children. Everything was straight forward with arrival and departure. Geoff was very welcoming and helpful. We had complimentary provisions....milk, coffee, tea, biscuits, fruit and Prosecco which was much appreciated and very kind . The accommodation is fun, fresh and immaculate to a very high standard. The downstairs living accommodation was great for a short stay and beautifully kitted out. Lovely bedrooms upstairs and a great bathroom with a super shower. The hosts have been very thoughtful and generous in providing everything that you could possibly need throughout the property for your stay. We would highly recommend Devonair.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit tollen Vermietern nah am Meer

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Exmouth, leider nur eine Woche!

Der Kontakt zu Geoff und Karen war im Vorfeld schon perfekt. Sehr hilfreich bei der Planung und viele tolle Ideen, was man unternehmen kann.

Das Haus ist sauber, sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattet und von der Lage her perfekt um auch abends noch kurz ans Meer zu laufen.

Bei unserer späten Ankunft am ersten Tag, erwartete uns ein Obstkorb, Brot, Butter und Getränke!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen!
