About the Owner

My husband and I are both retired. We live in a quiet little Hamlet in Nottinghamshire England. Known to the locals as Robin Hood Country.

We had very little time for long holidays before we retired. For nearly 25 years I was a Hypnotherapist and Psycho-analyst in Sheffield Yorkshire having my own Private Practice. Although I'm enjoying my extra free time I still miss the satisfaction that my work gave to me.

My husband had his own Fabrication business until ill health caused him to retire.

We have 2 grown children, a son and a daughter. We also have 6 grand children and 3 great grand children all of which are delightful ( well, I would say that wouldn't I ) .

Even though we have been to many lovely places, we have always been drawn back to Lanzarote.

We had always wanted a place abroad and it wasn't until my brother moved here to live permanently that we actually made up our minds to take the plunge. We discovered this apartment was in the perfect location for the harbour, and had wonderful sea views from the Sun Deck, that we decided, Yes, this is the place for us and the rest is history as they say. The Old Town of Puerto Del Carmen has always held a special appeal to us, with its fine restaurants and bars and having spent many long holidays here I really think that we have got Island Fever, in the nicest possible way.

We love the peace and quiet that this apartment benefits from and feel our batteries are truly re - charged by the time we reluctantly return to England. Our holiday home has been called a ' Real Home from Home ' by many of our visitors., with every thing that you need to make your holiday a truly memorable one.

The unique benefits of this lovely Island has to be it's lovely warm climate and superb scenic landscape.We have certainly felt a big improvement in our health since we have spent long holidays here.

Great stay.

Well what can I say another lovely stay at number 12 Las Terracitas .Lovely to open the door in the morning and straight into the pool.Its so quite at night its hard to believe no noise what so ever .Fab to have washing machine and tumble dryer every thing you need is there so you can travel light be in touch soon Sonia x

Fabulous

Just returned from a restful, stress free break in this lovely spacious apartment. Air conditioning was an absolute godsend and the facilities were everything we could possibly need! We had a lovely quiet break and lovely friendly neighbours. The free use of washing machine and tumble dryer also helped me keep the childrens clothes clean and fresh. 100 per cebt recommended, lovely fresh clean apartment with everything a couple or family could need.

A well maintained and equipped apartment

My partner and I enjoyed every minute of our stay in the apartment it's a credit to the owners , it's like home from home . The air con is a god send on the warmer days , you've every thing within a 2 minute walk a pub several eating places and a well stocked supermarket . I'd recommend it to any one who wants sunshine and a comfortable lovely place to stay . Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely apartment and we'll be looking forward to staying again x

As near to perfection as it gets

My husband and I visited to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary after visiting the previous year with our daughter. Had a wonderful stay, very peaceful and relaxing and a real home from home. Everything you could possibly want in the apartment and a very safe place to stay. If you didn't want to venture far there is a couple of restaurants (would highly recommend Marios), a Spar shop and a gift shop on the doorstep. There is free Wi-Fi and air-con in the room and a washing machine on the complex if you want to travel light. We will certainly book again without hesitation. Sonia was brilliant with getting back to you on any queires and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Very dissapointing apartment

Very dissapointed. The photos and reviews made it something it is not. It most certainly is not spacious. Very limited space especially when you have diving equipment. The fridge has now been moved so it is almost in the bedroom, making it very noisy.

If you dont mind lots of noise, then choose this apartment. It certainly was not quiet. It was not clean eitter. Glass with lipstick on it, dirty cutlery, hairs on the floor and food left in the fridge which made place smell.

The apartment was boiling hot on arrival as the air conditioning was turned off and the fridge freezer was also off so the food we bought ended up warm.

No directions were sent via email and couldnt get hold of the owner. The owner did not even respond to an email sent while I was there.

Neighbours were also very noisy. I would not recommend this apartmend to anyone if you want a good night sleep or if you wantany peace or space.

So dissapointed I actually gave up and moved out. I try to contact the office but could never actually get through to anyone.

Little gem

We stayed at the apartment for 9 nights it was well equipt with a good sized pool, the walk down the steps to the marina was pleasant with lots of nice restaurants. Marios a few doors down from apartment is a must good food and service. Hope we can return soon

WE ARE ON CALLE TOSCON JUST ABOVE THE HARBOUR IN THE OLD TOWN.

A few minutes walk from the apartment there are several bars and restaurants, also a super market and an English Butchers. A hairdressers and a gift shop.

A 10 minute walk from the apartment brings you to the Biosfera Plaza shopping complex, with several fashion shops including Zara, and more, plus bars and restaurants, with fabulous sea views. A 5 minute walk down the steps outside our apartment complex brings you to the new Marina and fish Restaurants

PLAYA CHICA IS A LOVELY LITTLE BEACH IDEAL FOR SUNBATHING, SWIMMING AND LEARNING TO DIVE @ SAFARI DIVING SCHOOL RUN BY WENDY.

The new town is spread along the coast with a very long promenade, white beaches, shops and bars. The old part of the town, where our apartment is situated, has a beautiful harbour, beaches and spectacular cliffs, all within walking distance. At night the restaurants around the harbour are very popular, with fresh locally caught fish on every menu. Lanzarote is well known for its volcanic, lunar type landscape, lava fields, caves, camels, palms and beaches. Some of the sights to see include the volcanic house of the famous Spanish artist and sculpture, Caesar Manrique and his magnificent cactus gardens with over 1,400 species.

Golf: FOR ALL KEEN GOLFERS.....There is a brand new golf course just 5 minutes drive away. WHY NOT TRY IT OUT.
