Cottage in Grassington, Upper Wharfedale, Yorkshire Dales

Gregory View is situated on a quiet lane just off the the centre of Grassington. It is a conversion of a 17th Century barn and has lots of original features with a real home from home feeling. There is a large wood burning stove in the living room. There are two bedrooms upstairs - a double and a twin room. It has been fully renovated in 2011 and now offers a wonderful place to stay in this most popular of Yorkshire villages.

Lovely, cozy, charming cottage in Grassington

We stayed in Gregory View Cottage for 3 days and wished we could have stayed longer despite non-stop rain. The cottage is small but well appointed and oh so cozy. The views are lovely, the location ideal, the hosts are thoughtful and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay in one of the most beautiful spots on Earth!

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful village, highly recommend

Lovely little cottage, extremely clean and felt very welcome with fresh flowers on the table, fresh milk in the fridge and a lovely bottle of wine. Beautiful views from the bedroom window and a lovely little seating area outside with beautiful views to look at while having a morning cuppa. A few minutes walk to the local shops/pubs, lots of places to have lunch, local cafes with yummy food and even a takeaway on the evening, also would recommend the fish and chip shop, lots of walks from the door step especially loved walking down to Linton falls on an evening. Would highly recommend this cottage, location is spot on, will definitely be returning to the cottage in the future :)

Clean, quaint and comfy

We loved the property on arrival and the location was fab. The cottage is really well equipped and the owner had been very thoughtful about meeting our needs. The beds were really comfortable and shower hot. There was good Wi-Fi and lots to do I the house and in the village. We will definitely be returning.

Gregory View, Grassington

We really enjoyed our stay at Gregory View Cottage which is in an ideal location for visiting the Yorkshire Dales. Situated in the picturesque village of Grassington with great pubs, tea rooms and shops. There are good walks from the doorstep. The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped. A nice welcome pack provided by Chris, the owner, of Milk, Eggs, Wine and Flowers. Also plenty of teas and coffee. Wi-Fi is also available. It also accepts dogs. A very good character cottage. Thoroughly recommended.

Perfect holiday cottage

We stayed here for a week and were lucky enough to experience the Grassington festival and lots of sunshine!

The cottage is in a great location with only a few minutes walk to the pubs where you can get food in the evenings if you don't want to cook.

The cottage was very comfortable and had a lot of extra things that holiday lets often don't have. The kitchen was very well equipped.

There are some great walks from the cottage and within a short driving distance.

Parking is at a premium, but we did manage to get a space each day in one of the two car parks. The lovely lady next door, Anita, kindly let us park in her driveway to load up on our last day, so no problem.

All in all, a great holiday - thank you Christopher.
