Glebe Barn is a stylish conversion that provides a wonderful combination of external rurality and internal style. Located alongside 11th C Colan Church, this property is a unique space with 1st floor living area, ground floor kitchen, garden and external tranquility that ensures you know you're away from the real world. The Glebe is 400 years old and you enter the barn via a private entrance and courtyard. On the ground floor is a kitchen and dining area. Upstairs is an open lounge with double bed and from there a very cool bathroom. There is also a futon to provide extra sleeping space for up to 4 people - though it's ideal for a couple or young family. The property is located in a tiny, ancient hamlet called Colan. Despite it's rural location, the property is only 3 miles from the ocean, newquay and north cornwalls wonderful range of beaches. It's also close to the main road through Cornwall. A wonderful location, beautiful property and delicious place to stay.

The Glebe is owned by our neighbours and is one of only 2 properties alongside the 11th C Colan Church.
During 2012 the owners renovated their barn conversion and we now help them market the property.
Inside it's a very stylish unit. Outside it's idyllic, peaceful and charmingly rural.
The property is beautifully designed inside and includes underfloor heating. Outside the garden is a peaceful suntrap but we're only 3 miles from Newquay, the Atlantic Ocean, Surfing and much fun to be had. A great combination.

Nearest airport is Newquay Airport - 10 minutes away. Newquay has a railway station with a 15 minute taxi journey required to arrive at Colan.
Local village is called Quintrell Downs and is approx. 5 mins away. 2 pubs and a spar. Newquay is a further 5 mins away.

Out of season Cornwall is gorgeous - empty beaches, clear roads, roaring fires and plenty of value in pricing. What's not to like? That's when we can offer the best discounts but we're always open to discuss.
