Domaine l'Ancien Vignoble quiet area with splendid views of the Dordogne valley

On the ground floor of our house l'Ancien Vignoble are 2 luxury apartments. The apartments are independent of each other and our private quarters located. Each apartment has complete privacy and separate terraces with a beautiful view over the valley of the Dordogne. The outdoor terrace is equipped with garden furniture.

On our terrain, 5700 m2, is the large heated pool of 12 x 6 meters. At the edge of the pool you will find several sunbeds with umbrellas. The pool house located at the pool gives you shade. A simple outdoor kitchen has also been set up in the pool house. A mobile barbecue is at your disposal.

By appointment, guests can use the communal sauna and the adjoining fitness room.

Apartment l 'Olive is luxuriously equipped for 2 people + baby. The apartment includes a living room with open kitchen, bedroom, toilet, bathroom with shower / bath. Kitchen including refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave. A cot + high chair can be placed.

The apartment is equipped with a plasma television with dish reception including French, Dutch, German and English channels. You can be in and around the apartment free use of a wireless Internet connection.

The apartment is heated and cooled by means of a geometry system. The cooled air = free cooling is returned to the house.

Heated swimming pool 6 x 12 meters with slats. The pool has an overflow tank with a beautiful view to the valley of the Dordogne River. The apartment has TV reception with French, Dutch, German, English and international channels. In and around the apartment you can use wireless internet. From December 2016, our luxurious sauna is available to guests.

Luxe en comfortabel appartement

Samen met mijn partner en onze baby van 8 maanden hebben we een heerlijk verblijf gehad in het appartement en in de prachtige Dordogne regio. We hebben vele uitstapjes kunnen maken en het was daarna weer fijn thuiskomen en gebruik te maken van het ruime zwembad.

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub, empfehlenswerte Unterkunft

Empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung mit gut und modern ausgestatteter Wohnung und Küche (ein Backofen hat uns noch gefehlt), alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.

2 Terrassen und weitere Sitzmöglichkeiten (gemeinsam mit den Gästen der beiden anderen Wohnungen und den Vermietern) im Garten.

Wunderbare,r großer, erfrischender Pool. Viel Ruhe (trotz Campingplatz in der Nähe) und Erholung. Schöne Aussicht ins Tal der Dordogne (die Sonnenuntergänge sind ein Traum …).

Gute Ausgangslage für Touren in die Täler der Dordogne, des Lot … und allen Sehenswürdigkeiten des wunderschönen Périgord.

Einkaufsmöglichkeiten unter anderem im Ort (täglich geöffnete Bäckerei und kleines Lebensmittelgeschäft).

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastfreundschaft und Liebenswürdigkeit der Vermieter Betty und Herman Bezema. Sie kümmern sich auf Französisch, englisch, niederländisch und deutsch ganz wunderbar um Ihre Gäste. Vielen Dank für alles.

A beautiful pearl that took us by surprise

This is the place to go to, if you're looking for a place to relax, and also want an apartment where everything is in order. The hosts (Betty and Herman) are extremely helpful, and you feel that you're welcome from the first minute.

This is also the place to go to, if you want to explore the surrounding tourist attractions - like Gouffre de Padirac, or le Rocher del Aigles. The market in Sarlat nearby can also be recommended.

We will definitely come back to this place. We cannot point at anything that was not in order. The apartment was clean, the bed was nice, the pool is excellent, and the surroundings are quiet and peaceful. We miss sitting in front of the apartment looking at the birds in the air and the rabbits on the lawn.

A hint: You can order bread each day for the following morning at the camping site nearby. It is only a two minutes walk to the shop. You can also join the pizza evening there that takes place every Friday in the restaurant.

Erholsame Frühlingstage in Top-Appartement

Modern ausgestattete Wohnung an aussichtsreicher Lage im schönen Tal der Dordogne. Küche und Bad mit allem was man braucht in schönen Materialien, sauber und funktionell. 2 möblierte Terrassen nur ein paar Schritte vom Swimmingpool entfernt. Die Gastgeber sind hilfsbereit und sehr bemüht um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste. Sie geben auch Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, wo viele geschichtsträchtige Plätze und Naturphänomene zu finden sind. Danke für die nette Betreuung!

The holiday domain l'Ancien Vignoble is situated on a quiet country road in a hilly and wooded area in the southeast of the Dordogne, on the edge of the French village of Saint Julien de Lampon, about 500 meters from the River Dordogne. From your private terrace adjacent to the apartment you have a wonderful view to the valley of the Dordogne River and the superjacent castle Roufillac.

The part of the Dordogne Perigord Noir is named, is one of the most attractive regions of France with natural beauty, rivers, lakes and countless caves and castles. Saint Julien de Lampon is a small, friendly village all basic services are running, walking distance away. Every Thursday morning there is a market in the town square. Church, bank, post office, grocer, bakery, bar-pizzeria-tabac, butcher, health center with doctor and dentist, tennis courts and finally a number of restaurants make life in Saint Julien de Lampon very pleasant.

Recreational, sports and culture the area has a lot to offer. In the immediate vicinity of the cottage you excellent biking, hiking, horseback riding, golf, tennis, swimming and canoeing. In the holiday season in the village canoes, bicycles and mountain bikes for hire. In the vicinity one can find many restored historic towns, castles, gardens and caves.

The beautifully restored medieval Sarlat has many restaurants, terraces and cultural activities such as street theater and exhibitions. The Saturday market in the old city center is definitely worth a visit. From the cottage is o. M. Sarlat accessible via landscaped paths (old railroad).

The fortified town of Domme gives you a magnificent view of the Dordogne valley.

Village le Bournat in Le Bugue, here is an outdoor museum with ao a farm, home, school, shop, sawmill, costumes, utensils and tools and machines that give an impression of life in previous centuries.

Rocamadour is best known as a place of pilgrimage, where you climb the stairs on your knees to the high church with the black madonna. You can also visit the center of Rocamadour with a lift.

La Roque Gageac is known as one of the most picturesque villages in France.

Les Eyzies-de-Tajc the capital of Prehistory, is a small place in the Périgord Noir. It lies on the river Vézère, a tributary of the Dordogne. In and around this town are numerous prehistoric caves

Souillac with its Byzantine dome, the market on Friday and several cultural festivals is worth it.

If you are interested in castles you will definitely find your in the Dordogne region. You will find more than a thousand, to the nearby castle Fenelon Sainte Mondane and Les Milandes castle, made famous by Josephine Baker. Other interesting castles are: Chateau Hautefort, Chateau Beynac, Castelnaud Château, Château La Treyne, Belcastel Château and Château Castenau

Worth seeing are the numerous prehistoric caves. The most famous is that of Lascaux II, you can visit the replica of the real cave of Lascaux. The Rouffignac Cave has more than 250 petroglyphs, the entrance is an electric train. Grotte de Cougnac is also known for its many petroglyphs. Lascaux 1V is open to the public at the end of 2016. A fascinating multi-media experience.

Roc St. Christophe, the largest overhanging rock crevice in Europe and has been inhabited since prehistoric times. This is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Caves with stalactites include Grotte du Grand Roc, Grotte de Cougnac, Grotte de Domme and the Gouffre Padirac, you can sail here on an underground tributary of the Dordogne.

Gardens to be visited: Les Jardins d'eaux Carsac, Jardins de Cadiot at Carlux, Jardins d'Eyrignac, the castle gardens at Chateau Hautefort and Les Jardins de Marqueyssac.

Fans of the books by Martin Walker, in which he describes the adventures of Inspector Bruno, were even more enthusiastic about the highlights described by Martin Walker.
