About Mrs Sharon Bennett
We live in England, Buckinghamshire, which is just about as far away from the coast as we could possible be! We have two grown up children, who are now living in London. Sharon`s family come from Dartmouth, it has always been a very treasured destination with loads of family memories. Anyone, who has ever visited with us, have fallen in love with it too!
Mrs Sharon Bennett purchased this Apartment in 2005
Why Mrs Sharon Bennett chose Dartmouth
We bought the flat because Sharon`s family come from Dartmouth and we love the beautiful South Hams area. Our flat is in the heart of Dartmouth, and has such easy access to everything but still with a lovely relaxed, holiday feel. It is opposite the beautiful Market Square and 2 minutes walk to the gorgeous river front and a further 10 minutes to the beaches.
What makes this Apartment unique
In the centre of the town. Only a few stairs from road into the flat. Very unusual in Dartmouth, most holiday homes are a steep climb away! So easy to pop back to, forget the car and catch boats, buses or walk for a stress free holiday!

Perfect stay and perfect centra Location
What a great last minute find.
We needed to come to Dartmouth at short notice for a few days and having looked at nunberois properties I finally settled on this property and so glad we did.
Gorgeous 1 bedroom dog friendly apartment. Perfectly situated in the centre of town.
The apartment really felt like home from home with all the usual things an apartment needs and extras too such as picnic blanket and bits and pieces in the kitchen to make life easier.
The bed is amazingly comfy and shower was good and powerful so absolutely no complaints there either.
Love how there was plenty of storage and hangers in the bedroom and a hairdryer etc again extra things that make life easier.
I do think ( as mentioned by another reviewer) a microwave is missing. We had chips one evening and they could have just done with a warm up by the time we walked back and we e had soup and only one large pan to heat it which was already in use.
Finally a washing up bowl too as no where to tip liquid when the sink is in use.
Apart from that - would have absolutely no hesitation in staying again and recommending the apartment to others.
Thank you so much Gaynor for such a lovely positive review, we love spending time in our cozy apartment in Dartmouth and are so happy when others enjoy it too.
Have taken on board the Microwave and Washing Up Bowl requests and will be arranging both!!
Would love to have you stay again sometime.
Very kind regards
Bijou, quirky, great
Clean and tidy accommodation - ideal for us. Very central in Dartmouth and easy to get to (we travelled there by train). On the flat and handy for all local amenities.
Would definitely stay there again, if available.
Lovely accommodation, perfect location parking is a problem but overall fantastic stay
Property lovely, had everything that is needed, perhaps a microwave for quick snacks but plenty of lovely places to eat. Situation was brilliant everything was within walking distance and so close to the shops and harbour. Would love to have been there for Regatta but maybe next year. Would definitely return.
The flat was really lovely and ideally situated, especially for people like us who don't have a car. We had a great stay and were lucky with the weather.
Lovely little bolthole right by everything you could want
Great little spot right in the centre of Dartmouth - shops, cafes, French bakery, fish and chips, delis, a farmers market and plenty of good pubs all within a seagull's squawk of the front door. Perfect for cliff walks to rocky coves and wooded valleys and sea kayaking with seals. Good buses along the coast in either direction & the Dart cruise to/from Totnes is well worth your time. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
GReat little place
Great place and location, fitted 3 female adults just fine!
Only downside, no towels, which when you are coming from abroad means some wet towels in the suitcase on the way home.
Thak you again for a great stay :)
I am so pleased that you had a good stay Emma. Very sorry that the towels were a problem and of course I would of hired you some towels if I had thought that coming from abroad causes a problem! Remind me another time. Very kind regards Sharon

Dartmouth is renowned for sailing and a beautiful estuary. The ancient narrow streets house boutique shops, delicatessens, cafes and restaurants plus a market on Tues and Fri. Dartmouth is Devon's foodies heaven. Stay for the famous regatta the music festival or food festival (21st-23rd Oct 2011). Dartmouth has everything you will need -supermarkets, banks, a cinema etc. There are numerous boat hire places and yacht charter companies in Dartmouth. Just take a river cruise up the Dart to 'alternative' Totnes. It is the the most beautiful stretch of water in the country. The South West Coastal path is here for those who love to take a hike.
