We live in England, Buckinghamshire, which is just about as far away from the coast as we could possible be! We have two grown up children, who are now living in London. Sharon`s family come from Dartmouth, it has always been a very treasured destination with loads of family memories. Anyone, who has ever visited with us, have fallen in love with it too!
Mrs Sharon Bennett purchased this apartment in 2005
We bought the flat because Sharon`s family come from Dartmouth and we love the beautiful South Hams area. Our flat is in the heart of Dartmouth, and has such easy access to everything but still with a lovely relaxed, holiday feel. It is opposite the beautiful Market Square and 2 minutes walk to the gorgeous river front and a further 10 minutes to the beaches.
In the centre of the town. Only a few stairs from road into the flat. Very unusual in Dartmouth, most holiday homes are a steep climb away! So easy to pop back to, forget the car and catch boats, buses or walk for a stress free holiday!
This is a really nice little property, located absolutely perfectly for just about anything you plan on doing in Dartmouth...
It is stocked with everything you could wish for, we even cooked a full roast on New Year's Day!!
Everything is clean and tidy, was lovely and warm with the new boiler doing its job... really enjoyed it here!
Sharon was brilliant throughout too... Great communications, made it easy and pleasant from the moment we started emailing.
Thank you again, we will definitely be back
Very pleasant 4 night stay and very well equipped Plenty of good restaurants and Pubs Right in the centre
Sea Horse for Lunch The Cherub twice for supper and beer
We had a lovely stay in this quirky flat.It is tastefully decorated and is located minutes from the market, shops, gardens and restaurants. We found a free parking space in the next road and used ferries trains and buses to get about visiting Blackpool Sands(no 3 bus) Brixham, Torquay and Greenway.Although there are no views you can step outside and be in the Royal Palace Gardens or the harbour in minutes without having to walk back up any steep inclines. We enjoyed eating out at Kendricks but eating fish and chips on a bench at Bayards Cove was great with a beer from the Dartmouth Arms. There are great views here out to sea.We arrived by lower ferry from Kingswear which was a great start to our holiday. The flat is well equipped and spotlessly clean but a frying pan is needed as we couldn't find one.
Great apartment excellent fixtures and deco, lovely colours, right in the centre of dartmouth. The rooms were all of a good size and everything to your needs.Would definItley recommend the property.Sharon was spot on with info and very efficient.
This apartment provided us with a superb base for our holiday. It is in an excellent central location; beautifully furnished, clean, well-equipped and well-presented. Although there is no allocated parking we used the park & ride which was a very efficient service with pick up/drop off close to the apartment. An added bonus for us is that this apartment is dog friendly. The owners were always very helpful and easy to contact and talk to. This apartment is excellent value for money and we are hoping to return next Summer.
This apartment is a great central base for exploring Dartmouth. It's cute and cosy, beautifully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and spacious shower room. Although there is no allocated parking we have always been able to park free overnight close to the apartment and found that using the park and ride for a day in Dartmouth is a good value option. There are lots of excellent restaurants within walking distance that cater from early breakfasts to late evenings. The owners are very easy to communicate with and I really recommend this gorgeous apartment.

Dartmouth is renowned for sailing and a beautiful estuary. The ancient narrow streets house boutique shops, delicatessens, cafes and restaurants plus a market on Tues and Fri. Dartmouth is Devon's foodies heaven. Stay for the famous regatta the music festival or food festival (21st-23rd Oct 2011). Dartmouth has everything you will need -supermarkets, banks, a cinema etc. There are numerous boat hire places and yacht charter companies in Dartmouth. Just take a river cruise up the Dart to 'alternative' Totnes. It is the the most beautiful stretch of water in the country. The South West Coastal path is here for those who love to take a hike.
