About Mrs Sharon Bennett
We live in England, Buckinghamshire, which is just about as far away from the coast as we could possible be! We have two grown up children, who are now living in London. Sharon`s family come from Dartmouth, it has always been a very treasured destination with loads of family memories. Anyone, who has ever visited with us, have fallen in love with it too!
Mrs Sharon Bennett purchased this Apartment in 2005
Why Mrs Sharon Bennett chose Kingswear
We bought the flat because Sharon`s family come from Dartmouth and we love the beautiful South Hams area. Our flat is in the heart of Dartmouth, and has such easy access to everything but still with a lovely relaxed, holiday feel. It is opposite the beautiful Market Square and 2 minutes walk to the gorgeous river front and a further 10 minutes to the beaches.
What makes this Apartment unique
In the centre of the town. Only a few stairs from road into the flat. Very unusual in Dartmouth, most holiday homes are a steep climb away! So easy to pop back to, forget the car and catch boats, buses or walk for a stress free holiday!

Lovely little bolthole right by everything you could want
Great little spot right in the centre of Dartmouth - shops, cafes, French bakery, fish and chips, delis, a farmers market and plenty of good pubs all within a seagull's squawk of the front door. Perfect for cliff walks to rocky coves and wooded valleys and sea kayaking with seals. Good buses along the coast in either direction & the Dart cruise to/from Totnes is well worth your time. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
GReat little place
Great place and location, fitted 3 female adults just fine!
Only downside, no towels, which when you are coming from abroad means some wet towels in the suitcase on the way home.
Thak you again for a great stay :)
I am so pleased that you had a good stay Emma. Very sorry that the towels were a problem and of course I would of hired you some towels if I had thought that coming from abroad causes a problem! Remind me another time. Very kind regards Sharon
A great property which has a good layout and is in a really convenient position in the town.
The flat was easy to find in the centre of Dartmouth and provides good access to the seafront, shops, pubs and restaurants. It was also useful to be able to take our dog with us. It was a good base to return to after a day out and has all the facilities we needed, but if possible a microwave would be useful. We enjoyed our week's stay and would probably go again.
Compact with everything you need for a holiday to hand.
Lovely flat very close to the centre of the town and all facilities. Well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom and front lounge with bay window looking out onto quiet side street.
Perfect New Years Get-away
This is a really nice little property, located absolutely perfectly for just about anything you plan on doing in Dartmouth...
It is stocked with everything you could wish for, we even cooked a full roast on New Year's Day!!
Everything is clean and tidy, was lovely and warm with the new boiler doing its job... really enjoyed it here!
Sharon was brilliant throughout too... Great communications, made it easy and pleasant from the moment we started emailing.
Thank you again, we will definitely be back

Dartmouth is renowned for sailing and a beautiful estuary. The ancient narrow streets house boutique shops, delicatessens, cafes and restaurants plus a market on Tues and Fri. Dartmouth is Devon's foodies heaven. Stay for the famous regatta the music festival or food festival (21st-23rd Oct 2011). Dartmouth has everything you will need -supermarkets, banks, a cinema etc. There are numerous boat hire places and yacht charter companies in Dartmouth. Just take a river cruise up the Dart to 'alternative' Totnes. It is the the most beautiful stretch of water in the country. The South West Coastal path is here for those who love to take a hike. There are also some pretty walks inland through remote valleys and the lovely River Dart trail. Slapton Ley (5 miles) is a bird watching paradise. Start Bay has lots for divers with its colourful reefs - the Eastern Blackstone, Bull Rock, Mewstone, with their abundant life, wrecks of the Benton Castle, Greatham, Elsa and the Dutch Tug.
