Seaton - a house that sleeps 6 guests in 4 bedrooms
Seaton House sits above the beach on the edge of the charming seaside fishing village of Seahouses. The spacious middle of three houses, it is one of only handful of houses that can boast the breath-taking coastal view of the Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island. This much loved family holiday home has been owned and appreciated by the same family for many years and features a very large, enclosed garden with a south facing summer house. Cross the road in front of the house and you reach the sand dunes and two spectacular miles of sandy beaches. Within a five minute easy walk, you reach Seahouses harbour and village centre with a wide choice of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and tea rooms as well as a well-stocked supermarket and selection of gift shops.
Enter the house from a rear sheltered patio area and look through the open plan ground floor to a panoramic view of the sea and Farne Islands. The rear enclosed lobby houses the washing machine and a door into a small cloakroom and WC. Continue through into a well equipped kitchen, with a range of appliances including dishwasher, micro-wave, electric oven with ceramic hob and fridge there is also a large fridge freezer located in the summerhouseNext into a separate dining area with oval dining table and chairs and continuing through into a large and spacious lounge with an open coal fire with electric fire in front as an alternative. There is a varied selection of seating as well as TV, video, DVD, Hi Fi music system, a selection of board games and even a family card table. Wi-Fi has also now been installed. At the front of the lounge is a substantial bay window framing stunning panoramic views of the coastline and Farne islands. Furnished with wing chairs this is the place to be at any time of the day with a cup of tea or coffee, the newspapers and of course the binoculars.
The staircase leads to the first floor landing where there is access to Bedroom 1: a large double with spectacular sea views. Bedroom 2: a single with views toward the garden, open farmland beyond and the Cheviot Hills in the distance. The family bathroom is also located on this floor providing an electric shower over the bath, WC, wash hand basin, electric fan heater and shaver point.The staircase continues up to the second floor giving access to Bedroom 3: with twin beds and sea views through a dormer window. Bedroom 4: a single with views to the rear of the property.
At the rear of the property is a private and secure parking area, adequate for several cars, leading to an enclosed garden consisting mainly of lawn and a comfortable summerhouse with electric supply and storage area for a selection of garden furniture. This south facing haven provides approximately 2/3rds acre of private garden in which you can indulge in a variety of ball games or perhaps just soak in the evening sunsets whilst enjoying a barbeque. An ideal playground for all age groups.

Maximum 2 dogs welcomed @ £25 per dog per week. To book your dog in, please add a note to the property manager when you place your booking. You will need to pay separately the £25 for your dog, one of the property management team will contact you once your booking arrives.
Note that whilst Seaton is the middle of three properties it has its own expansive rear private garden which gets sun most of the day, and private gated parking. Amazingly Located Holiday Rental.
This was our 5th stay at Seaton. And again it did not disappoint. It is a lovely house. Clean and comfortable and well equipped for couples or a family. They even leave doggy welcome packs and dog towels! It has a very large garden with summerhouse and the little patio is a lovely sun trap for alfresco dining. It is in an ideal position, the view from the front window is across to the Farne Islands, across the road and you are on the most fantastic beach, about 10 minutes walk into Seahouses and you can get all you really need food wise plus gifts etc. Possibly 10 minutes by car in the other direction you have Bamburgh and the castle.
I would recommend Seaton to anyone. But I would rather keep it a secret as it has a special place in my heart!!

This was our second stay at Seaton. Perfect location. Accommodation roomy and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped including a large number of high quality saucepans, etc.
Having managed to leave my dressing gown behind, I can say that the after-stay service is excellent. It arrived at my home on the Wednesday after we got back.

This was a return visit to Seaton because it is a really comfortable, well equipped and spacious house, with stunning views from the sitting room window. Ease of access to the dunes, the beach, the village and shops makes it an ideal place to holiday.
We and our dogs loved it, and will certainly be back again!

Comfortable but not welcoming 6/10
homely, comfortable but a little rough around the edges.
Basics missing, 1/2 a loo roll, 1 dishwasher tablet, no soap in either toilet, no additional bin liners for a family of 6 was disappointing.
Thank you for your review. We do apologise for this oversight however if you had contacted the office these problems could have been resolved swiftly. Our housekeeping team are aware of the error. This is a popular property with our guests because of it's fantastic location, many returning year after year.
A lovely stay at Seaton
Seaton was a perfect location for our wee holiday. Lovely touch with the milk and K9 pack. Garden was beautiful.

Great location and house. With the beach opposite and being dog friendly it would have been nice to have a short length of hose pipe to clean the sand and salt off the dogs.
