This property is perfectly located in a peaceful, exclusive setting just a few minutes walk from two beautiful beaches, supermarket, several excellent restaurants & bars! It has a large balcony off the living room with a BBQ making it perfect for 'al fresco' dining! The private roof top terrace has sunbeds, umbrellas, additional seating & possibly the best views in the area! The apartment is tastefully decorated, fully equipped and with new air cons. It faces the sea and overlooks the large communal pool and sunbathing area. Two all weather tennis courts are also located within the complex. Getting around couldn't t be easier; there is walking distance to a variety of amenities including the Albufeira Marina, excellent local eateries, beach restaurants, local friendly bars and a supermarket. Only a short drive/ taxi to other attractions such as the Zoo Marine Park, Salgados golf course, Water parks, just to name a few! The apartment is ideal for families, friends, groups and couples. Great for golfing, tennis, fishing, diving and boating hoildays, as well as your normal relaxed beach & pool holidays!

This is what they say about it: "We always look forward to our holidays in Portugal which are filled with lovely sunny days, either spent by the pool, at the beach or on some adventure somewhere! Many a trip has been made to Zoomarine, the many water parks, dolphin watching on a boat ride from the Marina or just a visit to a local area in the Algarve. We often visit local restaurants which offer top quality food and ambiance at really good value prices. We have had lovely evenings spent at the beach restaurants or in vibrant, bustling Albufeira, walking through the old cobbled streets in the Old Town. It really is a great place for families and large groups of friends, and we hope you will feel at home in our apartment!"

We (4 of us) were at your beautiful apartment in Sao Rafael last week and all of us were more than happy with our stay there. Your apartment was fabulous. immaculate everywhere, well equipped and most comfortable in every way. It is not often photos of accommodation on website reflect the true picture of the place but your apartment is an exception and much better ! Well done !

It was a shame we spend most our time out as the weather (26C and sunny) was lovely during those few days we were there. No doubt we can recommend any friends who are looking for an apartment in that area.

Kevin also did a great job - meeting us on arrival in the evening, showing us around the apartment and gave us some essential info about the area.

The apartment was perfect. Showed better than the pictures. We were three couples. Each had their own room and bath. We had breakfast on the balcony each morning and finished each evening with a glass of wine on the balcony or roof top terrace. The beautiful beaches were in walking distance. Also in walking distance were a variety of excellent restaurants and food stores. Loved it. Would highly recommend and will be going back in the near future.

Family break

Just returned from a wonderful week in this apartment. The photographs don't do it justice - it is absolutely lovely. Very clean and spacious and absolutely everything you could need in the apartment - dishwasher, washing machine and a lovely built in barbecue on one of the many terraces. We loved the location - a walk to a few nice restaurants and beaches and only a cheap taxi ride to Albufeira. The owners couldn't have been more helpful with the whole booking process and provided everything we needed to know before we travelled. It was really effortless and we'll certainly be back. Thank you so much.

This was the 3rd time we have stayed at this apartment and have already booked our 4th. Fabulous location, not too far from the Airport. Easy walking distance to 3 different beaches, all scrupulously clean with beach bars and restaurants/cafes. Excellent local restaurants including Praia Grande, our all time fav. The apartment is extremely clean and very well laid out for holiday makers with all the facilities you could need. Great BBQ on one of the patios with an excellent pool and tennis courts. All communal areas are well maintained and clean. I would recommend this apartment and we love going back time and time again.

This is the second time we have rented this apartment. The first time was the 11th--18th December 2013 when we decided to have a break before Christmas, on this occasion the flight was an hour late and we lost our way in the dark however we were met by a charming couple who had put the heating on in case we were cold and after making sure we knew how everything worked insisted before they went home guiding us to the local supermarket which although it was late at night was still open. We were delighted with the apartment, very clean and spacious. The owners fine taste in the quality of the furnishings in the interior and the both outside terraces was excellent .We realised we had found for us a ideal retreat. The second floor terrace is a sun trap ideal for those who wish to sun bathe and is completely private. This time we were four in number so we used the second floor bedrooms which are ideal for families. The outside pool and surroundings were very clean and even in December are cleaned daily as are the entrance hall and lifts. The local restaurants of which there are many offer a variety of cuisine at reasonable prices. The complex has a pool and tennis courts for the energetic, but what we like is the peace and quiet at this time of the year. The owners were very good to agreeing to our request to hire the apartment for 10 days and while they maintain the apartment to this high standard we intend to return. Great place, large apartment

Apartment is very spacious and has everything you need. Walking distance from my new favourite restaurant over looking the sea, and great to have the tennis courts too. Being high up gives you a nice view. Definitely coming back to stay here.

Excellent apartment

The apartment is as described in the advert, it is clean, well decorated, equipped and spacious. Especially loved sitting on the balcony and relaxing on the roof top sitting area.

The grounds are very clean and secure. The pool was lovely and again very clean. We had short walks to local restaurants, all local restaurants are family run with great food and drink. The beaches near by are walkable, but you have to be an able walker.

The apartment is situated nearby lots of interesting places and other beaches a short drive away.

I would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely book to stay again.

Car hire is click on our web page which is very competitively priced, very easy and quick) but car is not essential as buses run frequently to Albufeira from right outside the Vila Rosal and taxis can be booked.

Further Details:

There are several good restaurants nearby. A small, local supermarket is a 5 minute walk and stocks all the basic products, fresh bread is baked daily and croissants are usually available in the morning. Alternatively there is an excellent, high quality supermarket 'Apolonia' at Gale which is a 2km away. Algarve shopping mall is approx 15min away
