About Anna Pryce
Philip and Anna Pryce from Llanfair Caereinion, mid Wales purchased Maes y Crynwyr in 2010. We fell in love with the location and saw its potential in an unrivalled position, having superb sea views and immediate beach access. The property was fully refurbished to a high standard through out in 2010/2011 and we have received excellent comments thus far. Our main business is Dolgead Hall Caravan and Lodge Park, which is located about 50 minutes away. This is a 5 star holiday park, which will hopefully reassure people looking to rent Maes y Crynwyr, that we know how to do things properly.

Why Anna Pryce chose Llwyngwril
Llwyngwiril is an unspoilt sea side village. It benefits from being close to some of the busier resorts like Barmouth and Aberdovey, but the village and beach are pretty quiet. Having said that, there is a pub, shop, play area, bus route and train station within 5-10 minutes walk. The property has enough off road parking for 5 plus cars. The garden is large, flat and well maintained. The property has all the mod cons, everthing you would expect from a recently refurbished property
What makes this Bungalow unique
Maes y Crynwyr is located right on the beach access, this is only positive because of its quiet location. The pebble beach can be tricky for any one with mobility issues, but it provides hours of fun for rock pooling and beach combing. When the tide is out there are plenty of sandy coves for paddling and swimming. There is barely a ripple on a calm day. So compared to other properties in Llwyngwiril we offer loads of off road parking, safe walking to amenities, big flat garden and a superb view.

Beautiful house and remarkable views
Very impressed had a brilliant holiday here with my wife, 2 very young boys and their Granny, the facilities and space were perfect for us e.g. Wood flooring all on the same level, 3 bathrooms and big kitchen etc... this meant we could enjoy being in the area and experience the views without feeling confined or even leaving the house if granny wanted to sit and watch (and hear!) the sea from the leather sofa. Boys loved toddling down to the beach and the yarn bombing in the village really impressed my wife. I was pleasantly surprised how well connected we were with the nearby train station 5min walk and beatiful ride to Barmouth Would definitely come back again. Thanks.
We are so glad that all members of your family were able to enjoy their stay. Thank you for such a positive review - Philip and Anna
An enjoyable holiday
Found bungalow with ease, thanks to good directions. Quality of accommodation extremely good. Very clean and ready for our stay. [Just a couple of minor mentions. Bedside light in front bedroom fused and needs new bulb. Ceiling led light in en suite Needs replacing.]
Plenty of kitchen utensils and storage and overall furniture very comfy with magnificent views over the Allen Peninsula.
Yarn bombing in village very interesting and proximity of rail link to bungalow advantageous. Easy to have a good time when you have no worries about where you will lay your head each night. Would highly recommend.
Spacious, lovely garden and great view!
We had a great time there, got 2 little kids and they loved the garden, the deck and the beach! Big driveway for many cars. Very lovely village, and you can catch the train to Barmouth easily. Really recommended this place for a big or small family! Will definitely come back again.
We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay and thank you for a wonderful review
Second year running...
We stayed for a week last year and booked again for this year, so that tells you how good it was. The weather this year wasn't as fine, but even on the bad days there was plenty of room for the 3 children and 4 adults to occupy themselves without getting on top of each other.
The kitchen is particularly well equipped - this year I didn't bother taking my sharp knife, potato peeler, garlic crusher etc with me.
Would definitely recommend.
Hi Madeline, I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay again and thanks for the review.
Beautiful well equipped bungalow, stunning views
Beautiful clean and tidy bungalow fully equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable. Stunning views of cardigan bay and the mountains behind - I'm really missing my breakfast on the rocking chair on the decking. We were lucky to see the dolphins in the bay one morning, and just up the coast the seals sunbathing on the rocks. Beautiful area with so many things to do. It is a good idea to get well stocked up with food as the shops and takeaways are a few miles away. Can't wait to come back again.
Thank you for your kind review and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay.
Fantastic view,brilliant facilities !
Beautiful property, with a fantastic view of the Irish Sea and Barmouth from the lounge and decking outside. The garden is well maintained and suitable for lounging around in the sun or playing ball games. The bungalow is very clean and well equipped a home from home. The property is a great base to explore both the coastal path and more strenuous mountain walks as well as the pretty local towns and villagesThe clean beach is just at the bottom of the garden with super waves for bodyboarding and jumping over.A fantastic holiday we will be back!
We are so pleased that you enjoyed stay and look forward to welcoming you again.
Coast/Beach: Llwyngwiril Beach is mainly a pebble beach but also has sandy coves along its length. The beach is ideal for rock pooling, sandcastles and swimming. Access to the beach is via a footpath over a railway line at the bottom of the garden. Llwyngwiril Village. The village is small enough to feel full of character but big enough to have a shop and pub with a restaurant, a train station and modern children's playground. Further Details: Please note the property is no smoking and does not permit dogs.
