About Anna Pryce

Philip and Anna Pryce from Llanfair Caereinion, mid Wales purchased Maes y Crynwyr in 2010.

We fell in love with the location and saw its potential in an unrivalled position, having superb sea views and immediate beach access.

The property was fully refurbished to a high standard through out in 2010/2011 and we have received excellent comments thus far.

Our main business is Dolgead Hall Caravan and Lodge Park, which is located about 50 minutes away. This is a 5 star holiday park, which will hopefully reassure people looking to rent Maes y Crynwyr, that we know how to do things properly.

Why Anna Pryce chose Gwynedd - Snowdonia

Llwyngwiril is an unspoilt sea side village.

It benefits from being close to some of the busier resorts like Barmouth and Aberdovey, but the village and beach are pretty quiet.

Having said that, there is a pub, shop, play area, bus route and train station within 5-10 minutes walk.

The property has enough off road parking for 5 plus cars. The garden is large, flat and well maintained.

The property has all the mod cons, everthing you would expect from a recently refurbished property

What makes this bungalow unique

Maes y Crynwyr is located right on the beach access, this is only positive because of its quiet location.

The pebble beach can be tricky for any one with mobility issues, but it provides hours of fun for rock pooling and beach combing.

When the tide is out there are plenty of sandy coves for paddling and swimming. There is barely a ripple on a calm day.

So compared to other properties in Llwyngwiril we offer loads of off road parking, safe walking to amenities, big flat garden and a superb view.

Beautiful well equipped bungalow, stunning views

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful clean and tidy bungalow fully equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable. Stunning views of cardigan bay and the mountains behind - I'm really missing my breakfast on the rocking chair on the decking. We were lucky to see the dolphins in the bay one morning, and just up the coast the seals sunbathing on the rocks. Beautiful area with so many things to do. It is a good idea to get well stocked up with food as the shops and takeaways are a few miles away. Can't wait to come back again.

Beautiful bungalow in a fantastic location. The view from the garden/decking/lounge is stunning - we were lucky enough to see dolphins in the bay on a couple of occasions. Very well equipped and beautifully furnished, didn't want to leave. Take the ferry from Fairbourne to Barmouth for a good day out. Hope to return soon.

Lovely Cottage, Amazing Setting

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here, two families over the Easter break. The cottage is really well equipped and we never wanted for anything. There were 4 adults and 3 kids and we never felt on top of each other, there's plenty of room to sit together and enough space to find your own peace if required. Having 3 bathrooms was nice as we could let the kids have their own for baths whilst leaving the ensuites for the grown ups. The garden is huge and was safe for our 18month and 3 year old to run around in without fear of them escaping!

The view from the cottage is stunning and the path to the beach is right next to you. The village itself has quite a nice little pub and the train station is also nearby if you fancy leaving the car at home. Parking for the property is also plentiful unlike a lot of places in the village which is great if like us, you go down in convoy. I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat and hope to return again in the future.

Fantastic holiday property

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful holiday home - we had a great time. Wooden floors throughout make for easy sand sweeping after time on the beach! The house is very comfortable and having two en suites is such a bonus when you are two families holidaying together. The 3rd bathroom was relegated to kids only! The kitchen is very well equipped - between 8 of us we never got to the bottom of the plate pile before the next lot came out of the dishwasher :-). We took the tip from the previous reviewer and ordered a week's worth of groceries from Asda (cost £1). The pain of setting up the online shopping list was worth it to not have to hunt down an open shop over New Year.

Being winter we didn't take full advantage of the garden space much but I imagine it be wonderful in summer time to sit out on the deck in the sunshine enjoying the rather superb view. We did give the gas BBQ an outing (twice) and it got the thumbs up from my other half. The kids enjoyed some autonomy walking to the beach by themselves - it really isn't far.

There is plenty to see and do in the local area and despite the cold and the wind we enjoyed numerous different beach settings within a half hour radius from the house.

I highly recommend Maes y Crynwyr.

Llwyngwiril Beach is mainly a pebble beach but also has sandy coves along its length. The beach is ideal for rock pooling, sandcastles and swimming. Access to the beach is via a footpath over a railway line at the bottom of the garden.

Llwyngwiril Village. The village is small enough to feel full of character but big enough to have a shop and pub with a restaurant, a train station and modern children's playground.
