Chalet Chevran is a fabulous spacious chalet which has been completely renovated, redecorated and furnished with high quality Oak & Leather furniture. We have a large, enclosed sunny South-facing garden with magnificent views; a flat garden area (unusual in the Alps) which is ideal for Badminton and other games. Several patios for sitting out and BBQ. All the bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of cupboard space. The large well-equipped kitchen links into the dining area with the stunning Oak table, 12 leather dining chairs and large sliding patio glass doors. The Lounge is comfortably furnished with leather sofas around the log fire. The new Chill-out Basement is ideal for children, teenagers or any big kid! There's a Large L-shape sofa & bean bags, a 50" LG Plasma TV with Freesat UK Channels, LG Blu-Ray Surround Sound Home Cinema, X-Box Kinetic Games Machine, Full-Size Table Tennis table, Table Football, 1/4 Size Pool table. Free WiFi.
Helen and I live in the UK with our daughters and big furry Briard dog, Diego. I'm General Manager for an international company and Helen is a PR Consultant. Chalet Chevran is a great 'home from home' to leave behind our busy working lives.

Helen and I bought Chalet Chevran in 2011 as a family holiday home. We've discovered the Grand Massif area for both skiing and summer holidays a couple of years ago - a perfect location for both skiing and summer fun! It's so easy to access (8 hours drive from Calais, 1 hour drive from Geneva airport) but completely refreshing with its stunning views. You can access two different ski areas within 10 minutes, Les Gets within 25 minutes and Chamonix in 45 minutes. In the summer there's hiking, lake swimming, horse riding, cycling, mountain biking and every other outdoor activity you can imagine. But it only takes 15 minutes to drive down to Cluses with all its facilities such as a Carrefour hypermarket.
Chalet Chevran is a really spacious property where you can relax - large bedrooms throughout. A great bonus is the 90 square metre basement which we have turned into a chill-out area with 50 inch plasma TV, Blu-Ray Surround Sound home cinema, X-Box Kinetic as well as Table Tennis, quarter size snooker table and table football - fantastic if you have teenagers or for any big kid!
We have a flat garden, which is unusual for the Alps, and ideal for playing games such as Badminton or just relaxing with a drink.
As a new purchase we have made many improvements to the house, redecorated throughout and bought new stylish furniture for all the rooms.

Perfect chalet, spacious, well equipped and with a superb games room in the basement. The garden was beautiful with all the snow and the spectacular view. Our two families with teenagers stayed in the chalet for our skiing holiday. Ten minute drive from Les Carroz with great access to the Grand Massif skiing area. Supermarket on the way back to the chalet was very convenient. It was a pleasure to deal with the owner; prompt replies and very efficient. Thanks, we will return for sure.
Our expectations were exceeded as we approached the chalet. So easy to find, key collection was simple and straight forward. Inside of the chalet was of a high quality and clean.despite the lack of snow we were able to drive to other resorts very easily so managed to ski every day.
We were there as a family of ten with two teenagers, two children aged 8 and 6 plus 6 adults who became children when we saw the games area. Imagine no whining or whinging for a whole week, bliss.

We have had a lovely time at your beautiful chalet. There was plenty of room for our two families, we had everything that we needed and the area is lovely. We liked the table tennis table in the basement and the adults liked the views from the garden chair when we returned each evening. We made it up to Aiguille du Midi on the cable car and onto Helbronner on Wednesday - it was a beautiful, clear morning so we were very lucky. An excellent base for visiting the Haute Savoie region.
This is the second year running that mine and another family have stayed at this wonderful chalet. It's location is excellent, the layout and set-up are excellent, the games room is a terrific inclusion and the views are just spectacular. I would never tire of the view from the kitchen. The owners are friendly, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. We have every intention of returning. What a place to be able to call your own - very jealous.
This is a really nice place...we (family of six) have been twice, with another family of five and there is plenty of room to knock around in and large enough not get on top of one another. For skiing, you need a car to get to the slopes (but it is only ten mins away) and I'd recommend 4x4 in winter though it is not essential. It is also as near to the motorway as anywhere in the high mountains can be so that makes it as easy as it can be driving from GB or elsewhere. Well furnished without being poncy or fussy. Solid and clean. Quiet spot with good views. Sensible landlording. Good one.

This is a fantastic location for both Summer and Winter, whether you want to take part in outside Alpine activities or just relax with the magnificent views and clean mountain air.
We are only a short drive from the ski lifts, but you don't have the limitations of space and noise from being in-resort. There's a ski bus that stops twice a day, but you really need a car to benefit from the property. The Grand Massif is an enormous varied ski area that is easily enough for a whole week, but why settle for one resort when in 25 minutes you could also ski the Portes Du Soleil region or be in a Chamonix and on Mont Blanc in a few minutes more?
There are restaurants in Chatillon, Cluses, Les Carroz, Morillon and Samoens. Follow our recommendations or explore!
In the Summer, it's the perfect outdoor setting and temperatures often reach 30C or more. There are marked walks straight from the house - we have a beautiful mountain stream carved through the wood in the field below with waterfalls or take one of the cable cars up on to the Grand Massif. All within 15 minutes are Lake Swimming, Mountain Biking, the outdoor Swimming Complex at Les Carroz, Indoor Swimming Pool at Samoens, Tennis Courts, Equestrian Centres, Tree Climbing (like 'Go Ape' in the UK), Paragliding, Fishing...the list goes on!
With the town of Cluses only 10 minutes away, you can easily buy all your shopping at great prices with Carrefour, Lidl and Grand Frais supermarkets as well as accessing any modern facility such as banks.
