The apartments are located between Esentepe and Tatlisu in a semi-rural setting, about 30 minutes drive east of Kyrenia (Girne) and surrounded by mountain views to the south whilst overlooking the stunning Mediterranean to the north. The two 2 bedroom air-conditioned front line apartments each sleep 4 persons (5 at a push) and overlook the Mediterranean and are as close to the sea as you can get. The continuous patio doors provide exceptional ‘infinity’ sea views from the apartments resembling views from an ocean liner! The fully equipped kitchens include a washing machine, lounge/dining areas with TV plus DVD. A very small but secluded ‘micro beach’ is located a 1 minute walk away down a flight of steps and a larger beach is located 10 minutes walk away. The apartments are located on the Old Coast Road and are just 3 minutes walk to 3 restaurants. Taxis from the airports (Ercan, Larnaca and Paphos) and car rental can be arranged with a local firm if required. The property is professionally managed by locally based expatriate property managers. A local rate internet dongle/key is available on request although good wifi is available at the Seabreeze restaurant nearby

Semi-retired petroleum geologist in early '60s. Bought demi-chalets (ref FR16444) in 2007 for skiing in the ski resort of La Norma close to the Three Valleys but also for use at other times of the year. Bought 2 apartments in Northern Cyprus (ref CY3623) in 2009.

Location, location, location! Peaceful location where literally all you can hear is the sound of the sea, wonderful views, unspoilt area and good local restaurant (Seabreeze). And its not on some huge complex although the down side is that there is no swimming pool. As the location was so good I originally bought off plan from a very good local developer and very pleased with the result.

A little piece of heaven
You get exactly what's described on the tin. Absolutely fabulous, clean and tidy and well maintained. The owner and agent went out of their way to make sure we had all necessary information to make our stay in this area as good as it could get. To go to sleep and wake up every day listening to the sound of the waves breaking is truly amazing. Would definitely recommend hiring a car and exploring a little bit further afield as driving into the mountains is amazing.
There's 5 local bars, Steve's which has good entertainment and food, Eagles Nest which is a stones throw away. Barbaros the owner and his son make you feel so welcome. Seabreeze Restaurant was not quite as welcoming but the food was good. Roots bar is a 15 minute walk and only do kebabs on a Friday and Sunday but it's a relaxing bar and the live music is worth going for. We didn't venture to Charlie's Bar but we heard it was good for the big screen and football.
Would definitely recommend this property to people looking for a relaxing holiday (you could sit on the balcony, read a book and while away the day) with the option of exploring and finding things to do if they want to.

Special interest holidays: A turtle sanctuary can be found at Turtle Bay towards Kyrenia For students of geology the sedimentary geology of North Cyprus is very well exposed on the coast and an excellent place to do field work! Also great for students of archaeology as there are some undocumented sites about the area. Coast/Beach: The coastline of North Cyprus is picturesque but generally quite rugged with many small deserted and secluded beaches. There is a small secluded and semi-private rocky and sandy 'micro beach' 100 metres from the apartments at the base of the cliffs towards the Eagle's Nest restaurant and accessed by a concrete stairway. It is also possible, though not recommended, to scramble down the cliffs directly in front of the apartment to get to the sea. A much bigger sandy beach is available about 10 to 15 minutes walk away to the west of the apartments. With the crystal clear water the area is ideal for snorkelling and for fishing. Travel: North Cyprus Ercan (also called Leftkosa/ Nicosia) International Airport is about 40 mins drive away. Alternatively, you can visit North Cyprus via a flight to South Cyprus Larnaca International airport about 90 to 120 mins drive away. Some car hire companies will allow cars from South Cyprus to cross the border but the appropriate insurance must be purchased at the border crossing. Car hire in North Cyprus is recommended.
