About Rachel Halley
The cottage is managed by Rachel Halley, I grew up in Sheffield and spent a lot of my childhood exploring this beautiful part of the UK. I am passionate about the area, the village and I take great pride in being very hands on with the management of the cottage working very closely with the owners who have done a fabulous job in the conversion of this property into a lovely cottage for 2. Great location, lovely cosy cottage for couples
Really enjoyed the stay, not been to the area before. Location in the village is great, also access to local attractions. Had great meal in the George where staff where 10/10. The cottage is really clean and has all you need for a short get away. Contact with the owners was helpful and swift
A beautiful village for the perfect getaway.
Some fantastic walks from the cottage my wife and I and the two dogs completed a 10mile circular walk, some great views also passed through Bakewell just the one 🍺.Did not use the car once and local pubs 2 minute walk from the cottage.Cottage was clean and comfortable and in a great location.Thank 👍
Booked fairly last minute so the fact the booking process was easy and property manager Rachel was very responsive made it quick and painless. Property was very nice, really clean and smack bang where you would want to be location wise (down the road from the Red Lion pub and only a short walk from the other two). It was also close to some of the local walks so we got out and about and had a brilliant stay and weekend.
Very well appointed cottage.
Drawback - parking access very difficult made very hard by permanent van parked outside entrance.
Lovely property, always clean and welcoming, love the location and parking always a bonus. Highly recommended. Very pleasant to do business with as always
Cosy and comfy!
