Beautiful old stone house with lots of original features & full of contemporary art and sculpture. Close to Pollensa town off the old road to Alcudia [Ma-2201] that runs next to Puig de Maria. Large landscaped garden with lawn & pool surrounded by over 3 acres planted with fruit trees;mainly citrus & olives. Covered areas for alfresco dining include a large barbecue area. 2 ground floor terraces. Air conditioning in the bedrooms. Large bedroom terrace. Panoramic views to the mountains, Puig de Maria & over to Pollensa town.
We are a retired professional couple who love the house,Pollensa & Mallorca. C'an Sion is a second home which we enjoy sharing with guests for a few summer weeks each year.

John Lilley purchased this farmhouse in 2011
We have been visiting Mallorca regularly for over 25 years & previously bought a townhouse in Pollensa in 2003. There are many wonderful places on the island but Pollensa has a special magic of it's own. We decided that we would like to have more outside space & yet have easy access to the town. Finally we found C'an Sion & here we are! It is wonderfully quiet with lovely views in all directions & in the short time since we bought the house in April 2011 we can see how lucky we are.
We have enjoyed landscaping the garden & preparing the fields & planting over 100 trees:the house now sits in land that complements the handsome building. The sweeping drive lined by oleander draws you in to the lovely house built in traditional honey-coloured local stone.
The thick stone walls seem to keep the house cool & there are plenty of windows & doors for light & ventilation.
We enjoy the peace & quiet, sitting reading or having a glass of wine on one of the terraces...eg watching the sun go down over the mountains behind Pollensa from the bedroom terrace; magical! We often stroll in to town [30mins] for a short shop & a long coffee ...
There are a lot of villas for rent around the Pollensa area but I doubt that you will find many traditional farmhouses that compare to Can Sion.
The most stunning farmhouse with everything you could possibly imagine you would ever need on a holiday - and more! Jon and Myra have made Ca'n Sion into a little haven - and couldn't have done more to make our holiday more special. The information they provided in the run up was exceptional - so we knew exactly what to expect when we got there - but were still blown away by the property. We know the area very well but didn't know the farmhouse was even there. Very easy drive/bike ride to Pollensa Town - and an equally lovely drive/bike ride to Port de Pollensa - which was so much nicer than we remembered.
We spent a week at Ca'n Sion with my nieces and nephews and it was such a special week with many treasured memories. Early morning swims, football/games in the garden, long BBQ's (fantastic BBQ hut) - as well as videos once it was too dark to be outside.
You won't find a more comfortable/well equipped holiday home - with so many special touches and fabulous art on the walls. We loved it so much that we've already booked for next year.
Thank you Jon and Myra for lending your very special home to us.
After our stay the previous year, we booked-up with John and Myra again straight away for this year. Everything was as we remembered it and perfect for a family holiday. Long relaxing days by the pool in the beautiful garden and BBQs in the evening sunshine. We find the location near to Pollenca, yet only a few miles from the beaches just right. Whilst we usually like to try new and different places each year, it is very tempting to retun again in 2017!
This was our first family holiday to Mallorca, and it couldn't have been better. Having been recommended Pollensa as a good area to stay, not too touristy, not too remote, we found Ca'n Sion to be the perfect villa - excellent facilities, beautifully furnished and decorated, spacious light and airy. Days were lazy (we often didn't get up until late in the morning), spent poolside or reading in the shade, and then most evenings we ventured into Pollensa for some excellent tapas at the numerous restaurants - always busy, so definitely worth booking beforehand, especially if you have hungry children to feed! In fact, we only cooked in the evening once, at that was after buying some steaks from the local market just to try out the BBQ.
The property itself was very clean and tidy, well-presented and comfortable throughout - lovely beds, comfy sofas, plenty of clean towels in the well-proportioned en suite bathrooms. And the complimentary bottle of wine was very welcome! Finding the property was no problem, excellent directions from the owner John, who had been very helpful beforehand and during our stay, very quick to respond to email inquiries.
We would thoroughly recommend Ca'n Sion as a good family villa - although it can clearly sleep more, it worked well for four, as it meant the children could have a room each. John and Myra - thank you very much for letting us stay in your beautiful villa, you have helped convert the family into one that enjoys just lying around by the pool!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ca'n Sion! It has been renovated to a very high standard by the owners John and Myra primarily for their own enjoyment. We really felt more like welcome house guests rather than clients. There are lots of homely touches that you just don't get with a normal holiday let and everything was very well maintained and spotless!
We found the surroundings peaceful at all times as the house sits in a large parcel of land well away from the road. The design of the house is such that it can comfortably accommodate a couple, family or group of friends.
John was very attentive and answered all our queries quickly and efficiently. We recommed Can Sion highly based on our experience.

A great peaceful location, just outside of the beautiful town of Pollensa, yet only a couple of miles from the sandy beaches and resorts of Port de Pollenca and Port d'Alcudia. The property has been renovated to a very high standard and had absolutely everything we wanted or needed. The pool is set in a large, flat lawned area which was perfect for the children. All the outside seating areas are great, with a wonderful separate BBQ / dinning area. The master bedroom has a large balcony with superb views of the surrounding countryside. The owners sent us plenty of emails and kept in touch, making sure we had all the information we needed both before and during our stay. Should we return to Mallorca, we would certainly hope to stay at Ca'n Sion again.
We had a lovely holiday at this fantastic villa just outside Puerto Pollensa. If I was going to own a villa in Majorca, it would be exactly like this. The decor was fantastic, the grounds and villa were beautiful - there was even a vegetable garden that we could have access to which allowed us to make Gazpacho from scratch with everything home grown. We were extremely well catered for and, being foodies ourselves, absolutely loved it. I also had probably the best bath view in my life, lying there and looking out the window at the mountains and old town of Pollensa was stunning. Really couldn't ask for a better villa and lovely owners to deal with to boot - thanks J & M, it was lovely to share your home.
