Exceptionally convenient, being on the Cornwall Devon border, the property benefits from much shorter travel times to Cornwall from other parts of the UK. You'll be at your accommodation quicker on your day of arrival and home faster on your day of departure.
Once here you can explore all of Cornwall's top spots as far as Lands End, the North Coast, the South Coast and everything in between.
If that's not enough Devon is just on the doorstep
My daughter, 7 year old grand-daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful weeks holiday. The accommodation was first class as was the site as a whole. The location to get out and about in both Devon & Cornwall was first class. The reception staff were helpful and cheery. The free access to the nearby indoor swimming pool and leisure facilities was a real bonus.
We could find no fault at all and would not hesitate to book again. It was really good value for money
Friendly and helpful staff, nice and small resort. The only downside I can think of is the unreliable Wi-Fi and the motorway close by, but the sound from that dies down during the night. The use of a close by leisure club is included and an excellent fall back option in case of bad weather.
Very friendly reception as we arrived and lots of info was shared.
Cottage was very clean and had enough space to be here over a week. Very complete equipped and good tv and Internet
If we are in the region again we will sure make same choice
The cottage was a 2 bedroom with a lovely lounge/dining room with enough chairs etc for 6. All spotlessly clean and very comfortable, my son in particular enjoyed the large TV for hooking his Xbox up to. The kitchen had everything you could imagine including washing machine, dishwasher (and tablets for it) and all mod cons, usually when you go away there is something you use at home but is not there on holiday, but not here, everything was included, also plenty of crockery etc, not 4 mugs, 4 knives etc, I think there was 8 of everything, which is good if you are using the dishwasher. Reception was very helpful and friendly although I only went in once but they gave me a good map. Outside there is a lovely grassed area with a net, swingball etc set up and then another fenced area for toddlers with ride on cars, slides etc all in all very nice and caters for all. The local pub which you can walk to (just outside the gate) is the Notter Bridge, is good, local beers and reasonable food, and very friendly. Not far away was the Copley Arms which is also very nice and good food. Loads of places to visit in Plymouth and surroundings, we in particular fell in love with Looe.
Never mind recommending it to a friend (which I would) I will be going back myself.
Valley View Cottage was "Home from Home" and could not be faulted. We were upgraded, which was a surprise and much appreciated as they thoughtfully took note of our requirements regarding a 17' kayak and parking it out of sight! It was ideally located for our travel plans. Thanks to Anne & Boss who were very helpful. We highly recommend Crylla and would definitely stay here again.
