Boulouris is a charming Provencal coastal village on the Cote d'Azur. The villa is at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac, set in its own mature gardens with a large pool. The property is very versatile; it can be used by a small group having the use of the upstairs part of the villa’s accommodation only, which has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 6 people, bathroom and separate loo and the pool-house shower and loo. Or the whole villa can be used for larger groups which comfortably sleeps 15 people within its six bedrooms, with 3 bathrooms and one separate loo within the villa and in the pool-house a shower and extra loo. The reception areas are very spacious. The main reception room can be opened up onto the hall with folding french doors, and onto the front veranda with 2 further sets of French doors. The veranda at the back of the property is especially large with two seating areas, which overlook the pool area and the back garden. The kitchen and dining areas are very well equipped for cooking and dining at home. But the area abounds with wonderful restaurants and if you wish to dine out, you will not be disappointed! The pool is large and the area surrounding it has been designed to accommodate sun-beds for everyone, whilst also allowing room for children to run and play. The gardens are lovely, delighting your every sense.

About Janie Mack
Our property is family owned and is a much loved home from home. The children have enjoyed going over since being babies and now that they are older it has been great to also have their friends come over and spend time with us too. Over the years we have made some wonderful friends in the local area, and with so much to do, everyone is able to pursue their own interests. We have endeavoured to make our property a real haven, furnishing it with care and consideration, so that when we go over for a holiday we can totally relax in comfort and at ease. We are delighted that all the guests who have stayed, have also had this experience.
Janie Mack purchased this Villa in 1999
Why Janie Mack chose Boulouris-sur-Mer
This lovely villa is a family owned property. There are five of us, one sister and four brothers!! We first discovered the area in 1974, when we stayed in the camp site at Le Dramont as young children with our parents. We returned to Boulouris and Le Dramont many times over the years until finally as adults we decided to buy a property in the area, when we came across this beautiful villa in 1999. We have enjoyed many wonderful holidays with our own individual families and friends, and with each other's families over the years. The combination of fantastic venue, stunning scenery and reliably good weather mean that we always have a really happy and relaxing holiday. We know that any guests staying in our villa will have the same marvellous experience. The photo above shows the children of two of the siblings, on a hike in the Alps Maritime. The cousins are all extremely close and that in part is due to the fact they spend quality time together on holiday.
What makes this Villa unique
The villa is situated in the very tranquil village of Boulouris-Sur-Mer, with excellent amenities: train station, church, post office, bank, bakery, butcher's, fishmonger, wine merchant, small supermarket, bar/cafe and weekly Monday morning market. The beach is within fifteen minutes walk, and that is walking with small children, not power walking!!! There are some extremely good restaurants on or near the seafront, so very pleasant to walk to, and back from, in the evening. You can catch a boat to St. Tropez from St. Raphaël (2km away), and be in the midst of your St. Tropezienne experience within an hour! There is just so much history and so much to do, from Jazz through to art and scuba diving and golf, that this is an area which really does have something for everyone.

Nydelig hage. Stort og romslig hus. Kjempefint basseng. Godt utstyrt kjøkken, rikelig med solsenger. Veldig bra med toalett ved bassenget. Sentralt beliggenhet.
Thank you so much for being such lovely guests, it was a pleasure to host you
Walk to the nearest beach within 15 mins. It is a sandy beach with both private and public sections. The water is crystal clear and the views - stunning. The beach has 2 bar/restaurants where you can get everything from an ice cream to a delicious a la carte dinner. The public beaches of St. Raphaël are all sandy, have excellent amenities, and are a 10 min drive away. 10 mins drive the other way is the historically important Le Dramont, also used by Herge as inspiration for the Black Island.
Nice Airport is less than an hours drive away on the A8, or you can get a bus or train from the airport to Boulouris or St. Raphaël. If you want to arrive by train, you can do so from anywhere in Europe, because St. Raphaël is the nearest hub station and is only 2km away. From there you can either connect onto a local train and alight at Boulouris-sur-Mer, or catch a cab or hire a car from St. Raphaël. Whilst you can certainly manage without a car, you will be much more autonomous with one.
Less than 1km from the village center. St. Raphaël a 10 mins drive away. St. Tropez can be reached by car outside peak season in 45 mins, but do not use the roads in the summer unless you are on a motor bike. It is much quicker, cheaper and more pleasant at only an hour's crossing, to go by boat - it will take you 4 hours in the car, in the height of summer!! Cannes, Nice, Biot, Menton, Monaco and Ventimillia are all on the train route, it takes 15 mins to Cannes, 2hrs to Ventimillia.
The villa is extremely comfortable and situated in the charming and tranquil village of Boulouris-sur-Mer. Although the village is small, it has excellent amenities, with a superb bakery, butchers, fishmongers, small supermarket and wine merchants, it also has a church, post office and bank and not forgetting a train station giving you access by train into Cannes, Nice, Monaco and on into Italy or to St. Raphaël which is a hub station giving you access to all of Europe. There is a weekly market, year round on Monday mornings from 8am until 1.00pm, during the summer it also operates on Thursday mornings. It has wonderful fresh produce, meat, cheese, fruit, vegetables, leather goods, clothes, local pottery, olives, spices, herbs, oils, soaps and all sorts of other things, even if you don't intend to buy anything, I guarantee something will tempt you!! There are very large supermarkets within 10 mins drive for a more extensive shop. St. Raphaël is the nearest city, which is within 10 mins drive, with a main line station, and all the amenities you would expect, including a Casino, and an interesting night market. It has a thriving port, with many small craft moored there. You can take a boat from the harbour to St. Tropez (Ihr), Cannes and all sorts of other places. The boats leave several times a day and are very reasonable. If you are a scuba diving fan, the waters are fascinating, in fact Jacques Costeau developed his aqualung in this area. Le Dramont, which is 2km from the villa, is the site of the Allied D Day landing in the south. The Allies landed here on 15 August 1944, and started their advance North from this beach. There is a landing craft commemorating this historically important event preserved in the Place de Dwight Eisenhower, above the beach, which itself sits below one of Napoleon's semaphore stations, still maintained by the French coastguards. The climb up to the station affords breath-taking views of the coastline, and is well worth the effort.
