Gorgeous quiet well-equipped house in beautiful countryside.
We had the most wonderful week here. The house suited us perfectly for us all (2 adults and 4 children ages 12,11,9&3) and the outdoor space was great too, lots of areas to enjoy sitting in the sun and also shade if preferred. We tended to have breakfast in the garden near the pool and spend more time at the front in the evenings near the barbecue.
The pool was lovely with stunning views all around in total seclusion from neighbouring houses and even though there were few cars to be heard in the distance you can’t see any road from the house.
The beds were all really comfy and the kitchen and sitting room were well equipped too (with the small exception of no potato peeler - no big deal!).
We spent a lot of time at the house as the weather was so good but we did enjoy Alba and nearby Dogliani for drinks and ice-cream. Also a trip to Noli on the coast was well worth the visit.
Would very much consider returning if we can.
Many thanks for your kind words. We’re particularly pleased that you enjoyed the area, which in our opinion, is one of northern Italy’s best kept secrets
This was our second holiday here .
Once again we have had a relaxing ,enjoyable break in this comfortable property.
The large pool in the garden overlooking the stunning views was amazing .
We can't wait to book again .
Thanks Michelle and Nick

A piece of Heaven
There is something magical about turning into the drive of Casa Colina. You go through a tree lined path and suddenly there it is, a rustic farmhouse full traditional Italian charm. The house is decorated and furnished sympathetically and is full of character, including a hayloft to the side. The bedrooms are spacious and cool and the beds so very comfortable. The modern shower rooms are a real bonus too. The grounds are superb with the swimming pool surrounded by breathtaking views of neighbouring hills. To swim in this lovely pool is one of the best tonics in world.
That said there is plenty to do in the near by towns, from lovely restaurants to plenty of friendly Casa's offering wine tasting with platters of food. The people are so friendly here and the owners went out of their way to be helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and are looking forward to when we return again to this lovely Casa.
There is something magical about driving up winding Italian roads and turning into a mysterious drive. This is what you experience when you first enter the tree lined entrance of Casa Colina. And then there it is,this lovely pale yellow farmhouse oozing rustic character and charm. It's a welcoming house with lots of interesting nooks and crannies including a hayloft. The house has been decorated and furnished sympathetically yet with all the mod cons you need. The bedrooms are cool and spacious with such very comfortable beds. The modern shower rooms are a welcoming bonus. The grounds are stunning, with the swimming pool taking pride of place. To swim in this pool taking in the breathtaking views of surrounding hills must be one of the best things about our stay here.
The nearby towns are a short drive away and full of friendly bars and lovely restaurants. There are also many traditional local Casa's which offer wine tasting with platters of tasty food.
The owners of the property went out of their way to make our stay extremely pleasant. We had an amazing time at Casa Colina and can't wait to return.
This fantastic farmhouse in Cissone has everything for a perfect stay coupled with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We could not have asked for more; very clean, well equipped both inside and out - including hammocks for the garden! The pool is large and well maintained and also has beautiful views - a very relaxing swim. The owners were very helpful with great suggestions on places to visit and restaurants to try. There are lots of restaurants and bars to choose from in the nearby towns of Dogliani, Bossolasco, Roddino, Serravalle & Monforte where we always received the warmest of welcomes. We are already looking forward to returning and would highly recommend - a great base for exploring the area.
