Well appointed holiday cottage in a beautiful part of the country, close to the Pennine Way. We spent 2 weeks here and nothing was too much trouble for owners Sue & Keith who live in the adjoining house. Good walking from the property, and also well placed to explore the surrounding area including Skipton, Ilkley and Malham. Lothersdale is a pretty village, in a rural setting, but close enough to Skipton for food (and other) shopping.

Beckside barn is a fantastic place to stay lovely situation and very well equipped. Countryside around is stunning. Susan and Keith made as very welcome. recommended Forbidden corner to visit even for me and 16 & 19 yr old daughters and a must is Billy Bobs great food :)

Wonderful Beckside Barn

We had a great time exploring the Yorkshire Dales area and Beckside Barn was lovely to have as our base. Very comfortable and well equipped and in a quiet location. The owners, Sue and Keith were very welcoming and wanted to do everything to make our stay enjoyable.

We are taking away with us, very fond memories of our time here.

Second tIme around!

A couple of years ago when we were contemplating a base for a week's walking holiday in the Skipton area, we happened upon the Beckside Barn website and were immediately taken with it. Not only did it look perfect but it also had all the necessary requirements and was situated in an ideal location. In fact, it truly had everything we could possibly want and, much to our delight, the nicest and most helpful of owners as well. Therefore, when earlier this year the Yorkshire bug bit us again, there was nowhere else we could consider going. And so did Beckside live up to our expectations? Yes, it was beautiful - a real home from home where yet again we were so warm and comfy. Susan and Keith were there to welcome us back and simply nothing was ever too much trouble. They left us in peace to enjoy our hols but were always on hand if we had needed them. To be truthful, though, there was actually nothing we could possibly want - everything seemed to be thought of. Beautifully clean and so well maintained throughout too. We already know we'll definitely be back for a third visit - what better recommendation could there be?! Believe me, Beckside Barn is simply the best in every respect.

Amazing Place ;-)

A beautiful barn conversion, creating a home from home. We so enjoyed our stay and will be returning again soon. Susan & Keith were the the perfect hosts. Nothing too much trouble. Excellent food at the nearby pub and the local is perfect if you have young children.

Lovely Cottage literally on the Pennine Way

Everything you could want in a 4/5 bed cote Cottage. Close to fantastic walks up and down Pennine Way, and round and about. Close to Bronte Country :-), and all things Bronte . Great all round. Couldn't ask for better hosts and better accommodation. I would highly recommend Sue and Keith's really lovely cottage to any family.

Bookings by phone or email. £100 per week Non Refundable deposit with full payment 6 weeks prior to stay either by bank transfer or cheque. For bookings less than 6 weeks in advance, payment in full.

Changeover Day:
All holidays priced on a weekly stay - Saturday 2.00 p.m. - Saturday 10.00 a.m. If this is not convenient, we will do what we can to accommodate you.
Short lets will be considered (min. 3 days) can only be booked 2 weeks before stay, a part from winter breaks booked any time - prices on request.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

100% refund if canceled at least 90 days before arrival date.
