This is a maisonette. Downstairs is an openplan kitchen/diner/lounge with large double glazed patio doors which lead to patio and garden.

Upstairs are 2 bedrooms. One with a double bed and one with a twin bed.

The bathroom has an electric shower.

The lounge has 37inch television with freesat and DVD player.

The kitchen has a cooker, microwave and fridge with small icebox.

The Anchorage Holiday Apartments are ideal for the self catering holiday. Situated within easy reach of Porth beach on Cornwall's stunning North coast. The beach is child friendly with rock pools and stream. Porth is within easy walking distance of Newquay town centre, surfing beaches, Newquay Zoo and the beautiful Trenance Gardens. The apartments make an ideal base for touring Cornwall. Watergate bay is nearby where Jamie Oliver's fifteen is situated. Rick Stein's famous Seafood Restaurant and Bistro in Padstow and the Eden Project in St Austell and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are all within easy reach. There are numerous golf courses in the area too.

I have lived in Cornwall since 1973 and purchased these apartments in 1979 for holiday letting and I have done so ever since. I also am involved in farming with my partner and children.

It is in an ideal situation for the beach at Porth and the town centre is an easy walk or drive. It is spacious and has it's own garage for parking. A small sun facing patio and garden.

Notes on accommodation: All bedlinen is supplied. The electricity is metered by £1 coins. Pets by arrangement. Please note dogs are not allowed on Porth beach during the summer months. Each apartment has its own garage. Wireless internet is provided in all units. Outside: The lodge and the ground floor apartments have their own patio and open plan garden. Outdoor table and chairs are provided. The upstairs maisonette has a small balcony with 2 chairs.

Great position ticked all the boxes

Great family accommodation for a holiday stay with some nice little touches like wide choice dvds and local goodies on arrival. Porth is a really lovely bat with cute beach shop, coffee places and tea rooms, amazing views and very easy to reach other fab places in Cornwall. Only negative no phone signal and limited wifi.

Comfortable and cosy.

A very nice property in Porth.We found it quite comfortable with all the epuipment you would need for a self catering holiday.A nice welcome pack of the immediate refreshments was included . We enjoyed the nice cup of tea on arrival with the Cornish biscuits.

Fantastic apartment.

As a family of four adults, we absolutely loved our lodge apartment. We were made very welcome on our arrival, even though we had arrived a little early! Very much appreciated courtesy amenities; tea,coffee,milk and selection of biscuits. We spent a week in our apartment, with no issues whatsoever. Our apartment was very clean, lovely comfortable beds, and bed settee. Our lodge had bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, which was a bonus, as i thought everything was all on one floor. A small patio to the front, which was lovely and a garage as well. Only a short walk to the beach, literally just down the road, which was great, as spent many an evening there (free parking on the beach on an evening). Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

Porth beach is less than 5 minutes stroll away from the apartments. The coast path can also be accessed from the beach with beautiful walks to Watergate bay or around to Newquay headland and Fistral beach.


Newquay airport is less than 5 miles away. Newquay railway and bus stations are less than 2 miles away.


Newquay town centre is 1 1/2 miles from the apartments. There is a pub and cafe on the beach. The supermarkets are a short drive away.
