About David Perry
I am David and hope to welcome you to Torquay personally. I have lived in Torbay all my life and would never move away as I would miss the sea and beautiful scenery too much. I have excellent local knowledge and will be pleased to help with any queries about the area, recommend restaurants and attractions or give directions. I have been in the hotel and catering business since I was 13 years old(!) and have run St Christophers Holiday Home since 2006, and the Beulah Holiday Apartments with my wife, Caroline, since 1989, so have plenty of experience in providing a great holiday base for guests.

I bought this lovely house because of its superb position in Torquay, only 225 metres from the harbour side and centre, yet in a quiet leafy road. I loved the size and feel of the house and the fact that St Christophers has its own parking spaces - guests tend to leave their cars parked up for the week, which is much less stressful!
What makes this House unique
I live very close by so am on hand to help with any queries, unlike many other holiday homes. I personally supervise the changeover days and ensure that everything is spotless and fully equipped for your arrival.

We booked this house as it had 5 bedrooms to accommodate our whole family and it was within walking distance of Torquay harbour.
The house was clean and well furnished and all the bedrooms were a good size. The 3 bathrooms were a bonus when homing 3 families. The house contained everything needed for self catering although the hob ring indicators were a little tricky as they were worn. We needed 3 cots for the children and the owners managed to provide 2 and 2 highchairs. All in all a wonderful place to stay for a holiday.

Coast/Beach: 2 minutes walk to Torquay harbour (225 metres). Meadfoot beach is only 10 minutes walk and Abbey Sands is 15 minutes walk. Travel: A car is not necessary as there are taxis, buses and ferries within easy walking distance. The coach station and train station are about 1 mile away. Exeter airport is 26 miles. Distances: Exeter 23 miles. Plymouth 30 miles. Dartmouth 10 miles. Paignton 2 miles. Brixham 10 miles. Dartmoor 20 miles. Eden Project 70 miles. Further Details: The town centre is within easy walking distance (225 metres). The harbourside is only 2 minutes walk away, with many restaurants to choose from. There is a small convenience store only 2 minutes walk away and a Tesco Metro just 5 minutes walk away. Larger supermarkets are within 10 - 15 minutes drive.

Changeover Day: Normally Saturday, arrival 3 p.m. onwards, departure by 10 a.m. Notes on prices: Prices from £545 - £2195, depending on period and number in party. Please contact us for a definite price for a stay of less than 7 nights as the terms showing may be more or less. Booking Notes: A non-refundable deposit of 25% (minimum £100) is required to book, either by credit card, cheque or bank transfer. The balance is payable 6 weeks before arrival. In the event of cancellation, the person making the cancellation will be legally liable to pay the balance if the accommodation is not re-let. We do not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted in the property.
