About David Perry

I am David and hope to welcome you to Torquay personally. I have lived in Torbay all my life and would never move away as I would miss the sea and beautiful scenery too much. I have excellent local knowledge and will be pleased to help with any queries about the area, recommend restaurants and attractions or give directions. I have been in the hotel and catering business since I was 13 years old(!) and have run St Christophers Holiday Home since 2006, and the Beulah Holiday Apartments with my wife, Caroline, since 1989, so have plenty of experience in providing a great holiday base for guests.

Why David Perry chose Torquay

I bought this lovely house because of its superb position in Torquay, only 225 metres from the harbour side and centre, yet in a quiet leafy road. I loved the size and feel of the house and the fact that St Christophers has its own parking spaces - guests tend to leave their cars parked up for the week, which is much less stressful!

What makes this house unique

I live very close by so am on hand to help with any queries, unlike many other holiday homes. I personally supervise the changeover days and ensure that everything is spotless and fully equipped for your arrival.

I've just got back from a stay at St Christopher's in Torquay with family and all I can say is that the house was fantastic!

The location was ideal, with local shops, transport and restaurants all within a short 5 minute walk. Plus only a short stroll from some lovely walks towards Meadfoot beach.

The accommodation was great. We arrived early and were immediately welcomed by David who did all he could to get the house ready as soon as possible for my family. David was incredibly friendly and approachable. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more. Some lovely finishing touches as well like mini Easter eggs on the children's bed pillows and a selection of local cakes for the adults made sure everyone was happy on arrival!

Although the weather wasn't ideal we even managed a BBQ in the small but private garden.

Overall I felt very welcome by David and the house was furnished to a high standard with everything we needed for a family holiday. I would definitely stay here again if returning to the Torquay area.

Returned once again to St Christophers with my family. We have stayed on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The house is clean,welcoming and comfortable. My parents love the house and the ground floor bedroom and bathroom. Very easy access and 5 mins walk from harbour and shops. We always have a great welcome and are able to relax. The owners are always available and do everything to make our stay perfect. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone.The kitchen is easy to use and 3 bedrooms ensure no queues for the larger family.

Myself and my husband had previously stayed at St Christophers in 2008 with our family (which included our 15 month old son - the house is very child friendly) and we couldn't wait to go back, this time with some close friends. We stayed for 3 nights in November 2013 and it was just as fantastic as the first time! The house is in a great location, close enough to walk to the beach and the amenities in the town centre, but tucked away enough not to be disturbed by any evening noise from the town. The property itself is beautifully clean and tidy, wonderfully decorated and with every utensil you could possibly need in the kitchen! The owner, David, provide a first class and extremely polite and friendly service in terms of booking and keeping in contact prior to staying, and is on hand should you need him during your stay. David has been there to personally greet us upon arrival on both of our stays, and could not be more helpful. I have nothing bad to say at all about St Christophers and we will definitely be returning. I have one final word to describe everything about St Christophers - excellent!

Lovely home

We booked this house as it had 5 bedrooms to accommodate our whole family and it was within walking distance of Torquay harbour.

The house was clean and well furnished and all the bedrooms were a good size. The 3 bathrooms were a bonus when homing 3 families. The house contained everything needed for self catering although the hob ring indicators were a little tricky as they were worn. We needed 3 cots for the children and the owners managed to provide 2 and 2 highchairs. All in all a wonderful place to stay for a holiday.
