About Simon Constantinou

I was born and married in Cyprus and now live in Wales. We completed the build of our family home in 2008/9. We like the location because it is a quiet village some 20 mins fro Larnaca airport. The accommodation is modern and spacious , the grounds are landscaped with an outdoor swimming pool. We can accommodate 2 - 6 guests.

At the rear of the villa, there is a swimming pool which is surrounded by a patio enabling guests to sunbath in comfort. There is also a shower and toilet room accessible from the garden for swimmers and bathers. The garden, next to the pool, has steps leading up to a wooded area, in which a table and chairs are sited. This enables tree-shaded and comfortable dining. There is also a stone built barbecue in the garden.

I have never stayed in such a comprehensively fitted holiday villa as this. Well done Simon. The outstanding feature of this villa is the sense of light and space created by the full length windows and patio doors throughout the property.

A fantastic Stay!

What a modern, light & spacious holiday villa!

I cannot recommend this villa strongly enough. We first visited as a couple back in 2006 and enjoyed the space as a base for our adventures across the island and as a wonderful place to relax. We really enjoyed the privacy and the pool and the friendly locals at the tavern.

Returning with our 9 month old was a different type of holiday, but no less enjoyable. Everything we needed for our baby girl was already there…a travel cot and a high chair to name a couple of things. There is a little play area with swings, literally around the corner which we popped to most days. The gates around the pool gave us peace of mind knowing that our little one wouldn’t accidentally roll her way in. There is also plenty of shade in the garden if you want it. My favourite area was amongst the trees on the edge of the garden. Reading a book there with a cold beer in hand, soaking in the sights and smells was absolute bliss!

It is also so easy to get around by car, with the cosmopolitan city of Nicosia & 2 local beaches so close by. Simply being able to drive on the left side of the road is a bonus. We hired a car and had no trouble finding the villa or navigating our way around the island.

Now a family of four, we look forward to returning again soon!

The best villa I have stayed at in Cyprus

This is my second stay at Simon’s villa. I have to repeat that it is the most well appointed and comfortable rental that I have stayed at in Cyprus. Further, Pyrga’s convenient central location provides excellent access to Nicosia (15 minutes), Larnaca (15 minutes) and Limassol (25 minutes). Simon provided lots of brochures and information detailing places to visit and the best places to eat, which helps a great deal when touring the island.

Simon’s villa was clearly built to provide his own family with all the very best comforts of home and as such meant that nothing was left to chance when providing all that we needed to enjoy our holiday. The tavern in the village was a real bonus and we were able to enjoy non-tourist styled food along with the locals at great prices.

Discovering Simon’s villa was a gem and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking for comfort, convenience and value for money when renting a villa in Cyprus.

Special interest holidays:

Central location makes it ideal for exploring the many historical sites on the island (car hire recommended). Popular with ramblers.

There are a number of nature trails situated around the village; the nearest is called Pipi (pronounced Beebee). Travel from the villa to the T junction and turn right. Travel down the road for 500-600 meters and you will find the start of the trail on your left. The climb is about 290 metres in a comparatively short time. From the top of the hill you will have a really lovely view of the whole village.

Coast/Beach:

20 mins to Larnaca beaches 25 mins to Governers Beach nr Limasol 40mins from Ayia Napa 65 mins to Pafos.

Travel:

20 MINS FROM LARNACA AIRPORT

Further Details:

Many tavernas within 15 mins of the village. The village restaurants both offer take away meals as well as usual restaurant services. (700 yds from the house) A pleasant walk or a short drive.
