Idyllically nestled 4 miles east of Pickering on the A170 rest 4 beautiful cottages, Prospect Farm, Wilton. Accessed by a private drive, these tastefully converted stone barn are perfectly placed on the southern edge of the North Yorkshire Moors located between an abundance o scenic attractions including Dalby Forest, the North Yorkshire coastline and the Vale of Pickering, and only a short drive away from the livelier historic cathedral City of York. Graham and Lynne have lived at Prospect Farm for over 12 years and decided to convert the stone barns into holiday cottages in 2006.
As a listed property, the main house dating back to the mid 1700s, care was taken to retain as much of the original features as possible.
Graham works as a self-employed builder/landscape gardener and Lynne works in Scarborough and they manage the cottages themselves. In their spare time, which is very limited, they enjoy horse riding.
Lynne White purchased this cottage in 1998

Have just returned home after a 4 night break at this lovely cottage. This was a very comfortable barn conversion, clean, well maintained in a lovely area. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a cottage to rent in the Pickering area. The owner Lynne was very friendly making sure we had everything we needed.
Looking for somewhere handy for the area and this fitted the bill. The property, although small, was well equiped and lovely and clean. Lynne the owner, popped by to check everything was okay and was on hand in case anything was needed. All in all, a great value holiday, looking forward to staying again the future.
