The Annexe contains a living room, a kitchen with dining area, two bedrooms (1 king, 1 twin). Steeped in history, the property used to form part of a wagon wheel making factory, and some of the original wheel strappings are visible, as well as timber beams throughout. It has been equipped with all the conveniences of modern living (including wifi), but great care has been taken by the owners not to compromise its traditional feel.

About Paul and Helen Venn
Paul and Helen Venn.
Paul and Helen Venn purchased this House in 2010
Why Paul and Helen Venn chose Bramfield
We love this area and have been holidaying here for several years. We love the slow pace of life and the fact that you can come here in the peak summer months and not be stuck in traffic at all (like some places on the south coast!). The sea is warm(ish!) in summer and there are loads of great beaches but not overcrowded. The pubs are great too!
What makes this House unique
The property benefits from being in a quiet idyllic village, with award winning country pub just a short walk away, and a local shop too.
Sports & Adventure Activities
This is a beautiful well equipped cottage. We could not have wanted for more and really enjoyed our stay.
Thank you for the lovely feedback and we are so glad you had a good stay. The cottage is a home from home for us so its so nice to hear that people love it as much as we do!
A lovely quaint & cosy cottage
We haven't been to Suffolk before , so coming to this lovely cottage was a bonus, everything you could possibly want was here and very clean. Ideal village to explore Suffolk lovely beaches, beautiful towns and villages. Had a brilliant time thank you.
Comfortable, well equipped property in quiet location. Thank you Helen and Paul
We very much enjoyed our stay in Bramfield. It is a great base to see the county of Suffolk. Second oldest Chapel in England is in Walpole, just a couple of miles away, and well worth a visit also the distinctive Church in Bramfield.
Very clean and comfortable
A great little holiday cottage. Ideal location for exploring the Dunwich, Southwold and Mindsmere area.
Charming, well equipped cottage
A lovely clean, comfortable cottage full of character and charm. Very central for visiting coastal areas and other beauty spots.
Had a good time. We stayed the May bank holiday weekend. The cottage was well equipped and clean. Mind the step in the main bedroom!
It's a good base to visit other places such as Southwold and Lowestoft. The Queens Head, just a few minutes walk, is very friendly. The food was ok. It's a gastro pub so a matter of taste.
