Our brand new family owned holiday complex consists of 2 separate villas and a bungalow, set in 4 acres of an olive grove up on the hill at the outskirts of the picturesque and quiet village of Karavados, overlooking the island of Zakynthos and the well known Mount Ainos. 'Korallis Villas' have been issued with an EOT Licence (Greek National Tourist Organisation) and have been accredited with the following EOT Licence number: 0458K91000417501. ‘Korallis Villas’ is an ideal destination for extended groups of families or friends, as you can either relax within the spacious gardens enjoying the magnificent sea view, or swim at and explore a big selection of fantastic nearby sandy beaches. The villas have been designed according to the traditional Kefalonian architecture, yet, they provide you with all the modern amenities. They have been positioned in an effective way within our estate in order to provide functional autonomy, independent external access and privacy, everything necessary for a pleasant and peaceful stay. The Korallis family would love to welcome you and offer you a glimpse of the renowned Greek hospitality!
My brother Panos and I live in Athens and have been spending our summer holidays in Kefalonia since 1995. Having travelled all over Greece, we now know for sure that nowhere else compares to Kefalonia, an island that has a character of its own...
Panos is a civil engineer and I am a primary school teacher. In 2009, we decided to invest to a much loved place linked to those special, wonderful holiday stays on the island. During your stay we will be on hand to help you make the most of your visit with advice and tips on what to do and see and how to keep your children busy and creatively entertained!
Ms. Maria Koralli purchased this villa in 2009
Having done a lot of research on the island, we found our ideal plot of land in 2009 and the villas were completed in May 2011 under the constant supervision of our father Michael who has been a civil engineer for 45 years. We love the rural tranquility of Karavados and the surrounding area, where one can find plenty of picturesque villages and clear blue beaches.
'Korallis Villas' have been designed with great care and love according to the traditional Kefalonian architecture. Dining on the verandas or patios enjoying great sea and mountain views is a unique experience especially at the end of a long and busy day on the beach! Being a nature lover, I have discovered many walks in the surrounding area. There are also some fabulous tavernas close by all offering delicious traditional dishes.

Exhausted and needing a short private break, this was a wonderful find, perfect. Being so new, it was clean, fresh and inviting. I remember wonderful barbeques, wine and sittting 'til late enjoying unspoilt views where you could hear a pin drop! Especially as we'd roasted all day on the beach. Am hoping next summer, our daughter and 4 grandchildren will join us, we could all have our own space as it's absolutely safe for children and the owners have tried to think of everything you may need, even going so far as to supply upto date info packs and ideas for children activities.
My family and me spent one week in villa Thalia, we recomend the Korallis Villa's for all. The accomodation is perfect, the house is well furnished and cleaned, the owners are very hospitable and courteous. Moreover the location is more convenient to reach the beaches like Makris Gialos, Lourdata and near to Skala the beach of Kaminia.
St. Thomas sandy beach is a 10min walk away. It is ideal for little children as it has shallow waters. The sandy beach of Trapezaki is a 3 min drive. The 1km long beach of Lourdas with the ever changing turquoise blue clear water is only a 5 min drive away. Part of the beach is organized and sun beds and umbrellas are available for hire. There’s some beach side tavernas too.
The airport of Kefalonia (EFL) is a 15min drive away and there are direct flights to the island from Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, London/ Gatwick, Manchester, Newcastle and other European cities from the beginning of May to the end of October. Car hire is recommended in order for you to explore the beautiful island as it offers many options for sightseeing. Please note that we can arrange car hire for you at the airport on your arrival.
‘Korallis Villas’ are located on the outskirts of the village of Karavados and a mini-market is 500m away. The nearby village of Lourdata is made up of good restaurants, a bakery and car/ bike rental offices. The capital Argostoli is only a 10-15 min drive and provides you with a big range of shops, pharmacies, ATMs, supermarkets, Greek tavernas and bars. The port of Pesada, where you can take the boat to Zakynthos, is only 4km away. St. George's castle is a 5min drive and offers great views.
If you wish to further explore the island during your stay, we recommend the following outdoor activities: Scuba diving, off- road safari, walking trips, caving, horse riding in Ainos, private boat hiring. Supplementary information can be provided on request.
There is a considerable number of attractions both of historical and natural interest in Kefalonia. We suggest you visit: The Venetian fortress of Saint George and the one in Assos, the Minoan tombs in Mazarakata, the National Park of Mount Ainos, the Monastery of Saint Gerasimos (patron Saint), the Archaeological and Historical Museums in Argostoli, the Mellisani underground lake as well as the Drogarati cave.
In the summer, there are daily links to other Ionian islands from the port of Sami (on the South East) and Fiscardo (on the South).
We would be happy to assist you with further details about any places that might be of interest to you and provide you with local maps.
