About Jane Jackson

We live in Worcestershire and discovered Dartmouth 15 years ago. Our two daughters have grown up there spending long summer holidays enjoying all that Dartmouth has to offer.

We love boating on the River Dart and out to the coastal coves and beaches for picnics, live music in the pubs, great places to eat and glorious walks with our cocker spaniel 'Bobby'.

Dartmouth is called 'A town for all seasons' and we just love it all year round and get there as often as we can.

Jane Jackson purchased this apartment in 2000

Why Jane Jackson chose South Hams

As a family we had been visiting the South Hams area for a few years and really fell in love with Dartmouth which we felt had an all year round appeal. When we purchased St. Saviours Reach apartments which is right in the heart of Dartmouth, our children were young and loved the freedom and safety of this lovely town and being so near to the water. The property is one of Dartmouths historical listed buildings which we completely renovated when we purchased in 2000 into two very spacious and comfortable apartments. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and The beautiful Dart Estuary right on the doorstep. The Dart cruisers take you to Totnes or the small ferry boat to Dittisham for great crabbing, The Anchorstone cafe and Ferry Boat Inn for great food and drink.

What makes this apartment unique

St. Saviours Reach Apartments are in the heart of Dartmouth with views of the estuary and on the level. They are two self contained apartments but can interconnect to create accommodation for 13.

Both apartments have a car parking pass.

Nice Break

  • 4 of 5

Comfortable, well appointed, very clean and tidy, convenient and in a great location. However, early morning deliveries to the shops opposite, particularly the bakery receiving many heavy packages using noisy hand carts (07:00 or before) and local refuse collection, tended to be rather noisy. So if you are a light sleeper consider this point. Notwithstanding this, the experience was very positive and the break was great.

Lovely flat and very convenient

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay and the flat was ideal for us. This is our second visit. Everything you could need is supplied, apart from towels. This is easy to forget and therefore inconvenient, The bakery opposite is a highlight. Great for breakfast croissants.

Great Apartment, Great Location.

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at St Saviour's Reach whilst on a working holiday with a friend. The facilities in the apartment were excellent. The kitchen was well appointed with a large variety of utensils, pots and pans and also such things are washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets etc (not always included). The standard of decor was very good, a well kept, updated property, it felt like no expense had been spared. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in for a long time, a very supportive mattress yet not too hard and lots of pillows and a luxurious duvet, In the words of Goldilocks "Just Right". The bathroom was very clean and well maintained, with a large multi-functional shower and plenty of hot water. The apartment is in a great location right in the middle of Dartmouth close to shops, restaurants and ferries. A great place to spend a few days whilst walking the coastal paths or messing about on the water. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful apartments in central location - perfect

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in both apartments and were amazed at the standard of the flats for rental properties...they definitely felt like home from home. They were clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable and well kitted out. We had everything needed for 10 of us to drink, eat and be merry! In fact, I wish we had been staying longer so that we could have made more use of it!

The location is absolutely perfect to be able to make the most of Dartmouth and I would thoroughly recommend the flats to anyone considering them. I'm already trying to work out when to return with my family and friends!

Oh yes....and the people renting it to us were brilliant...so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

A wonderful weekend full of fantastic memories :-)
