About Robyn Hogan
We are a couple from New Zealand and after many trips to Europe decided to move to the UK in 2003. We have always wanted a home in France and coming from a seafaring nation decided that Brittany with it's marvellous coastline was the place for us. So in October 2010 we purchased Le Roc St Vincent in Dinan, an old stone house with 2 cottages attached. Since then we have completely refurbished Albertine and Jasmine to a very high standard and a now ready for guests. We love Dinan with all it's wonderful old buildings and history, the lively port is a great place to wander along stopping for a coffee or a drink or for a meal in one of the many restaurants. We offer our guests a warm welcome so come visit us and join us for a BBQ on a hot summers night!
Robyn Hogan purchased this Cottage in 2010
Why Robyn Hogan chose Dinan
We bought the property for it's proximity to the sea, the friendliness of the locals and the ease of commuting from England.

Idyllic cottage in the heart of old Dinan
We know Dinan well but have never stayed on “the hill”. Couldn’t have found a more perfect spot for a long sunny Easter weekend!
Robyn was the perfect host, from homemade goodies on arrival to booking a restaurant. Jasmine had everything we needed, from top quality White Company bed linen to complimentary Easter eggs!
Perfect location for the port and the town, with quiet gardens overlooking both, a real treat.
And on street parking just around the corner is a bonus in Dinan.
Will recommend to friends and family without hesitation!
Only one improvement we could think of - a couple of bathrobes/gowns would have made this a 5*plus review!
Thank you both for the great review, will now put bathrobes in,what a great idea, should have thought of that!!
Wonderful little cottage in the garden
Lovely accommodation in the cottage . We were upgraded to Albertine , small but all you’d need and beautiful garden setting over 2 levels . Lovely warm generous host Robyn , friendly and informative and Molly her dog was a bonus - so cute. Close to shops and restaurants although a bit steep climb up the hill to get there . Lounge room was cosy and warm with cushions and rugs provided by Robyn, TV had lots of stations we could access too. Hit our head on the beams a few times , not used to those as we don’t have rooms in the attic space in Australia but we soon learnt to duck. Close to the seaside towns of Dinard and St Malo which are lovely . The only negative was the double bed , small and we rolled towards each other into the middle all the time . Would recommend this lovely accommodation in the area to all .
Thank you Julie and Graeme,
I enjoyed meeting you as did Molly dog who sends you kisses
Robyn was the perfect host, and the housing was perfect! We were very comfortable and felt very welcomed. I would definitely recommend, and if I ever come to Dinan again I know where I want to stay.
An oasis of calm in a beautiful setting
We stayed in Albertine which was glorious. The house was small but immaculate and had everything we could wish for. Everything everyone has said re reviews about the hosting, facilities and garden were spot on. And it is located on the prettiest street in Dinan. Just right for both the port and the town.
Perfect for a relaxing break.
Lovely cottage in a central position.
A well designed comfortable cottage set in a beautiful garden. Robyn made us very welcome. The cottage is in a lovely location on a mediaeval street between Dinan town and the river. We did not need to use our car at all once we arrived as we were within easy reach of all the sites of the town as well as walks along the Rance and a wide range of restaurants.
Excellent , one word covers all.
From the time we arrived to the time we left we could not have been better looked after . Robyn is the most caring host possible , nothing being too much trouble.
Yes we would stay here again in the blink of an eye . We stayed in Jasmine cottage , a hidden gem perfect for two , We arrived to freshly baked muffins , home made jam and a very nice bottle of red to start our break . Compliments of Robyn and Rory .
Thank you for making our short break an highly enjoyable one . Richard and Ann.
Thank You Ann and Richard,
We enjoyed having you to stay just as much as you enjoyed it and look forward to seeing you back here in Dinan.
