About Robyn Hogan
We are a couple from New Zealand and after many trips to Europe decided to move to the UK in 2003. We have always wanted a home in France and coming from a seafaring nation decided that Brittany with it's marvellous coastline was the place for us. So in October 2010 we purchased Le Roc St Vincent in Dinan, an old stone house with 2 cottages attached. Since then we have completely refurbished Albertine and Jasmine to a very high standard and a now ready for guests. We love Dinan with all it's wonderful old buildings and history, the lively port is a great place to wander along stopping for a coffee or a drink or for a meal in one of the many restaurants. We offer our guests a warm welcome so come visit us and join us for a BBQ on a hot summers night!

Why Robyn Hogan chose Dinan
We bought the property for it's proximity to the sea, the friendliness of the locals and the ease of commuting from England.
What makes this Cottage unique
We enjoy just being able to walk to the many shops, restaurants, port and roaming around the Ramparts of Dinan.
beautiful town, beautiful property
we always relax in Dinan, but the comfort of this place was top class, and everything enhanced by the friendliness and helpfulness of Robyn. The weather was exceptional for mid-October, which meant we could also enjoy the lovely garden.
It's hard to believe that just off the bustling, cobbled street lies this enchanting house with gardens on 2 levels. We spent 12 nights in Albertine and explored Dinan and many wonderful sights in Brittany. It was always lovely to return to the peaceful haven of Albertine and chill out in the beautiful gardens. Robyn was a wonderful hostess who ensured we had everything we needed at all times. From the welcome goodie pack including wine and home made muffins to the gorgeous bed linen we felt truly spoilt! Highly recommended.
Thank you Pauline and Bernie,
We enjoyed having you here in Albertine and so glad you enjoyed our stay. Come back anytime.
Lovely cottage in a lovely town
We had a great stay, thank you!
Albertine was the best find ever! We loved the accommodation, the setting and the secret gardens. Spotlessly clean and a great welcome package (especially the muffins). Robyn and Ross made us immediately welcome. We would thoroughly recommend Albertine to anyone visiting this area of France. Molly the cockapoo was the icing on the cake. Thank you.

A fabulous relaxing holiday
Albertine is restful and secluded yet in prime location on the cobbled road leading up into the walled town of Dinan or straight down to the little river port. Exploring the town and its excellent eating houses contrasted with river bank walls - fabulous! Albertine is well appointed and delightful. Robyn is an excellent host, nothing is too much trouble. The garden provides a beautifully scented haven for relaxing and al fresco eating, a real gem!
A garden of Eden in Paradise.
Robyn gave us the warmest of welcomes and made us feel at home immediately. The garden and the cottage were exactly what I had dreamed of but the whole property exceeded my expectations. The cottage was well equipped, clean and cosy. The bedroom was perfect with beautiful linen. Robyn was the perfect hostess and nothing we asked was too hard. We loved Dinan and the cottage was in an easy reach of great restaurants and shops. I would recommend this property to anyone and plan to return next year.
