Villa in Lagos, Algarve, Portugal - Peaceful And Private Location With Fantastic Landscape Gardens

The 3 Bedroom villa includes an entrance hall with stairs leading up to the large open plan living/dining area and kitchen. Patio doors lead from the living room to a terrace which holds magnificent views over to Lagos and Praia da Luz Bays. The kitchen was recently renovated and is fully equipped. Downstairs are 3 bedrooms. The master and second bedroom both have en-suite bathrooms and the third bedroom has its own separate bathroom. Master bedroom open out onto a terrace which leads down to the pool. There is an outdoor barbecue area and steps down to the pool.

About Molly McMahon

I live in Ireland with my husband .I have four grown up children.They are married with families of their own so we enjoy our beautiful six grandchildren. We bought Casa Mimosa in 2008 and love going there for long holidays with the family. We love the Algarve and especially Lagos and Luz as it is quieter and not as busy as the areas near the Airport. We don’t mind the drive from the Airport as it is a beautiful Motorway all the way and it is worth the drive for the pleasure of staying in Beautiful Lagos. We have been going to the Algarve for years and found it quite easy to decide that it was the place we wanted to spend our holidays after visiting all the other sunshine country’s the people of Portugal won hands down when it came down to being laid back and friendly.

We bought our home in the Algarve because after holidaying there for years we decided Lagos/Lux is the ideal place to holiday because of all the beautiful beaches and lovely reasonable local restaurants. Also the people are so laid back and friendly.

What makes this villa unique

We love the proximity of Casa Mimosa to the Golf Course (accross the road) and there are terrific supermarkets in the area and it is so close to Lagos and Luz.

dear molly, thankyou, we all had a very enjoyable stay in your villa, it felt very homely, the only thing wrong was that we had to come home. the weather was fabulous and the baby loved it in the pool, baby equipment was much appreciated, she slept like an angel in the travel cot.

wonderfull winter break

We spent a month at casa mimosa and enjoyed every minute.The villa was just as described, Molly the owner was very friendly and helpfull as was Maria, the property manager. The location was perfect for us , just a short drive to Lagos with its old town charm, marina and wonderfull beaches, and the whole of the western algarve within easy reach. We would certainly recommend this property.

Car: recommended


There are plenty of beaches within easy driving. Praia da Luz beach is only 3km from the villa. Beaches in Lagos only 10 minute drive and stunning West Coast beaches with 30 kilometres.


Faro Airport 80 kilometres from villa. All motorway. Car hire needed.


The bustling town of Lagos is only 3 kilometres from the villa while the village of Praia da Luz is only 3 kilometres from the villa.

Further Details:

Closest supermarket is Intermarche on the EN125, only 1.5 kilometres from villa.

Booking Notes:
25% deposit required at time of booking. Balance payment due four weeks prior to arrival. Payment can be made by bank transfer. £200 damage deposit is payable with the full balance and will be refunded on departure.

Changeover Day:
We are flexible.Do not have fixed change over days. Departure time is usually 10am. If no other guests are arriving the same day guests may stay until their flight time. Arrival time is 2.30pm. Dates from November to March only available on Monthly basis.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
