A 1 bedroom apartment and a studio. Each is ideal for a sharing couple or one person. If you are two friends, there is an option for an electronically inflatable mattress. The property is not suitable for children and pets and there are no facilities for disabled people. Situated in Bayswater/Paddington and very close to both Kensington Gardens and Hyde park. Both nicely formed with own kitchen and bathroom. The one bedroom faces trees and the studio has west facing views of the roof tops of Bayswater. Tastefully furnished. Close to both Paddington and Lancaster Gate tubes stations and Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.
I have lived in London now for about 20 years and enjoy its diversity.
Robert Davies purchased this apartment in 2007
I love the property which has a lovely view of the rooftops of Bayswater. It's just a 5 minute walk to both Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. You get the sunshine (when it comes out) all day long as the flat is west facing.
1 double bedroom apartment:
When I bought this property, I loved the fact that the view was literally the top of a tree. As with the property above, the apartment is a stone's throw from the parks and within walking distance to the west end including Marble Arch, Notting Hill and Kensington High Street.
Within 5 minutes walking distance of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park and tube stations. A brisk 20 minute walk to Marble Arch and Oxford Street. Both properties are situated in a recently refurbished early Victorian building.
Arrival 14hrs and departure 10hrs. Arrival can be later and departure but do advise owner well in advance.
Amazing studio apartment - clean, new appliances. Great location - 5 minute walk from the Paddington underground station. Richard was extremely helpful. This studio would be very comfortable for an extended stay.
Terrific flat, immaculately kept, felt like home not a rental. Above and beyond our expectations. Very central location, 10min walk from Paddington station. All communications with Rob were great, very helpful upon our arrival. 5 star property from all aspects.
My wife and I spent one night here and we only wish we had more time in London. The flat is conveniently located and is a very comfortable space. We'll definitely stay here again when we come back to London.
Why anyone would want to stay in a hotel when they have Rob's apartments as a choice beats me! Firstly, a word about Rob himself. Perfect host, great e mail and text communications and fantastic welcome. More than many hotels would ever do!
The accommodation itself is fantastic. Either the studio flat (which Rob showed us) with the most spectacular bird's eye view of London rooftops or the main apartment, the comfort, cleanliness and elegance in both are second to none. As someone did mention yes there are a few stairs BUT this does mean you have a peaceful retreat after a day in London and the bed is a double. A few minutes away from all the facilities you would need, the location is sensational because of its food places, restaurants and general gentility which again seen as you are in the capital is not a given. There is no fault to be found here. A perfect base for your perfect break. Would give it five more stars if I could.
Heathrow Express from Heathrow to Paddington every 15 minutes. Journey time is also about 15 minutes.
Gatwick Express from Gatwick to Victoria. The service runs every 15 minutes. From Victoria, you can take the circle line on the tube to Paddington. The circle line is coloured yellow on the map. The apartment is only a 5 minute walk from Paddington. You can of course take a cab directly.
Check-in 14:00 hours and check-out 10:00 hours. Please text/ me an hour or so before arrival.
Situated in Bayswater / Paddington and very close to both Kensington Gardens and Hyde park.
