Primrose Cottage - 6-bed traditional seaside cottage with sheltered garden
About Katherine Tulloh
Sue Tulloh is a North Devon native. Her late husband Bruce, a teacher and renowned runner and coach, lived in the cottage as a child. Their three children and seven grandchildren are frequent visitors to the cottage, which means that it is often occupied during school holidays. Sue's daughter Katherine and her husband Tim now manage the letting of the cottage.
Katherine Tulloh purchased this Cottage in 1970

The cottage was very old workd but with every mod cons needed for a comfortable stay we all enjoyed
The only difficulty with the property is the parking otherwise lovely
Sorry about trouble with parking - hopefully when cottage opposite has been renovated and builders have gone things will improve. There should always be parking outside the cottage for one and another just below.
Rustic cottage in unspoilt North Devon costal village.
Great location - close to bike trail and beach; unspoilt seaside village. The cottage is spacious, warm and un-fussy. There are some issues - an eclectic mix of beds (some of which were comfortable), ill-fitting windows and doors and a few problems with cleanliness. It was unusual to find so many of the previous occupants' belongings in bedroom and bathroom cupboards - this felt more like someone else's home than a holiday let. Its good points made up for these; - the kitchen is cosy, with a big table for family meals and a sheltered walled-garden. It is very practical for an active holiday, with space in the garden for bikes, canoes and surf-boards. The owner was very helpful.
Lots of issues, owner advised, that need to be addressed to be considered a rental property of more than 2 stars.
Online picture of lounge 2 easy chairs nothing like what is actually there.
The reviewer made a couple of points that will be rectified. We have received very few complaints in forty years of renting.
