Wonderful stay in stylish cottage
A really enjoyable stay in a stylish and well-appointed cottage set in a beautiful location. This was our second stay here and it was as lovely as we remembered. Check-in was straightforward and excellent communication from the owners before we arrived. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Beautifully furnished and well equipped. Lovely external spaces and privacy plus perfect for pets
Amazing location. There was nothing we didn't want for or need. The weather was incredible which probably caused the only problem of regulating the temperature of the cottage as the aga made it almost too warm. It was easy enough to open doors for fresh air though.
Other than that could not fault anything.
Gorgeous cottage in really spectacular position. We loved it and so did our dogs 🐕. Couldn’t ask for more. So glad we found it. Thank you for making everything so perfect 👌
Relaxing break in a beautiful cottage in a beautiful location, not far from Montrose and Arbroath.
A beautiful cottage, inside and out, in a beautiful location. We were lucky with the weather , blue skies and sunshine in February. Well equipped, the Aga being easy to use. We had the log fire on every evening. Great fenced area for our two border collies ,who loved sitting on the raised bank in the garden and watching the world go by. Went with my husband , 2 daughters, elderly parents and our two dogs. Easy access onto the beach and went a walk with my parents to the beach and around to the river , through the forest and back to the cottage. Would definitely return.
Lovely setting. Cottage was clean and tidy with good facilities
Great time spent walking dogs on the beach and surrounding area. A real relaxing holiday with no time constraints or worries. This was my 3rd visit and we've always been lucky with the weather. People are all very friendly.
Wonderful location. Beautiful cottage. Third stay and won’t be our last
This is our third stay at Foreman’s Cottage and we look forward to it more and more every year. The cottage is so cosy and well stocked with everything you could need. It really is a home from home and with the new addition of fencing around the garden to make it secure for the dogs, it’s perfect for a peaceful getaway. The beach is a minute’s walk from the cottage and is one of the biggest and most beautiful I’ve seen. I don’t think I could get tired of being there, no matter the weather. In the sunshine it’s stunning with far reaching views and in the howling wind and rain it’s dramatically beautiful and coming back into the warm cosy cottage afterwards is lovely. Every evening we had two very tired and happy dogs, from hours running around in the surf, sand and dunes. Perfect..... see you next year!
