Overview

About the property

Stone Cottage in Llithfaen, Nr. Pwllheli / Abersoch / Nefyn, Lleyn peninsula, North Wales - Village Location, With Village Store And Pub Close By

This is our much loved family home that we have refurbished, yet tried to maintained much of its original character. It has the convenience of a village store and pub very close by, and on the direct bus route to Pwllheli. It is a great location for many of the attractions on the Lleyn, with Snowdonia National Park and Anglesey a little further. If you are a walker, yachtsman, water-skier, fisherman, golfer, pony-trekker or just want to chill out and do nothing there is something for everyone.

About Wendy Latham

I was brought up and schooled in Beautiful North Wales and many happy years have been spent on the north Wales coast . My husbands work commitments meant i had to leave Wales for a while, but since having a family i felt i needed them to appreciate all the good things that Wales has to offer so we bought our lovely cottage. We spend most of our time there and call it home, but when we are away its lovely to offer it out so people can appreciate the beauty of the area.

Wendy Latham purchased this cottage in 2007

Why Wendy Latham chose Lleyn Peninsula

The cottage is positioned on the top of a hill with far reaching views over cardigan bay.Its great positioning gives easy access to walking on the hills, coastal walks and the beach. Its in the centre of a small village with the advantages of Pub, Village store, and on the direct bus route to Pwllheli. The cottage has character and charm and very homely.

Lovely cottage, peaceful location & fantastic views

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay for 3 nights over the May bank holiday. the cottage is in a good location & had everything we needed. It was clean & nicely furnished. There was plenty of room for 4 adults & a child.

There is a shop & pub around the corner with a children's play area. The views are beautiful & the village is tranquil. Nefyn beach is nearby & worth a visit. I would definitely recommend it & we would stay again.

Beautiful character cottage in a great location

  • 5 of 5

This comfy little cottage is close to the highest hills of the Lleyn peninsula and has stunning views! The location is great as you can cover the peninsula from there perfectly but Snowdonia and Anglesey can also be accessed easily.

We walked a lot during our stay and found some of the most interesting routes started almost in front of the cottage, for example the circular walk to Nant Gwrtheyrn which gives you spectactular views to both sides of the peninsula.

While we were there the weather was mixed but we found the more we stayed away from the mainland (aka Snowdonia), the better it got every single time we ventured out westwards and it was a lot better in the end than we expected by simply looking at the weather forecast. Can only recommend going to this lovely area and cottage!
