Renovated to a very high standard, the apartment has a private patio area for al fresco dining and BBQs. There is a large mature garden with swimming pool and sun loungers.

This beautifully located farm villa with a large swimming pool is situated in an olive grove and vineyard with lovely views of the surrounding mountains. With only a two minutes walk to a well stocked mini market selling local produce, nothing could be easier.
There are 3 apartments in the villa. The largest, apt. Lucia, has 3 bedrooms, and the other two have 2 bedrooms. Each has its own private patio area for outdoor dining.
The farm villa has good facilities including sauna, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV and X-box. There is also a fine public tennis court 100 metres from the villa.
The village restaurant and pizzeria serving traditional Tuscan food is 10 minutes walk.
Hidden Tuscany: Garfagnana is 'Hidden Tuscany' at its best. With its stunning scenery it is the best area in Tuscany for walking and outdoor activities. We have close ties with an Outdoor Activities company who offer many international class adventures.
Castelnuovo, the nearby market town, has many restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets and all other types of shops. There is a tourist information office and a weekly market selling a wide variety of fashion, household goods, flowers, fruit and vegetables.
We can help arrange mountain biking, hill walking, horse riding, gorge walking and cooking classes are all available locally.
We first visited this beautiful and "undiscovered" region of Tuscany in 1988, buying a house in 1994 and since then we have been heartened by the number of visitors who have returned time and time again to enjoy the stunning beauty of the Garfagnana, the generosity of its people, wonderful food and local culture.
Stayed in the smallest apartment and was really disappointed as it was musty and not particularly clean. Felt like no one had been in it for a long time. The flat needs upgraded (apart from the kitchen which just needs a very good clean) and the bathroom was terrible with a leaky shower that resulted in a soaking wet floor. The bed and covers were old and didn't feel very clean and the bunk beds had bedspreads on them in a heap - not covering them. The pool is lovely but again the loungers and parasols need upgraded and the area round the pool could do with a good sweep. The towels provided were old and had dirty marks on them which remained after I washed them. The communal area is filthy and full of flies. The apartment had no real outdoor seating area to enjoy the gorgeous views as the bench and seats are in a carport type area which is under a part of the main farmhouse. Great location to visit other lovely villages, but that's about all it had going for it. Wouldn't recommend to anyone and wouldn't stay there again.
Property very good and location perfect
