Susan and Allan: we live in the Scottish Borders but wanted to have a home in Edinburgh. We have family who reside in Edinburgh that we visit frequently. The apartment is ideally placed to get the most from a holiday in Edinburgh. We hope that guests will find the comfortable accommodation as much of a pleasure to stay in as we do.

We had been searching for three years for an apartment in the heart of Edinburgh that would be ideal for us to use and to holiday let. The apartment has been fully refurbished.The property is superbly located in the Dean area of Edinburgh, which runs alongside the Water of Leith and lies just a few minutes walk from the retail and commercial heart of Edinburgh. The apartment enjoys all the benefits city living has to offer with restaurants, bistros and shops located in nearby vicinity. There is no need for a car as main bus routes are close by that cover most parts of the town and surrounding areas. Neighbouring Stockbridge, just a ten minute walk beside the water of Leith, also provides further local shopping and a Waitrose supermarket.

Dean village is a tranquil green oasis only five minutes from Princes Street. Dean is located in a conservation area which forms part of Edinburgh World Heritage Sites The apartment is part of an historic mill conversion.

Superb apartment but surely an uber away
Very well sized.... extremely well equipped...warmly taken care of and furnished...susan was very helpful and lots of information provided at the apartment. Location wise serene and quiet but far from civilization unless u r willing to walk uphill 15 mins...however just an uber away so must factor that cost in.
Your comments are testament to what a wonderful city Edinburgh is in that you thought that a property in the centre of Edinburgh , in a World Heritage Site, was ‘ no where near civilisation’!
A wonderful home with everything you could ever wish for or need
Susan was a wonderful helpful host with a equally wonderfully warm home with everything you could ever need all under one roof. A lovely building in a beautiful surrounding with just a short walk to everything Edinburgh has to offer.
Clean, central, fantastic!
This flat was clean, had a very well stocked kitchen, and was perfect for our stay in Scotland. We absolutely loved it. Side note - Climbing that hill to get to Princes street is no joke!
Beautiful property in convenient Edinburgh location.
We couldn't have been more catered for on our long weekend Edinburgh stay at Susan's apartment. The location was great with a small park across the road for the kids, and close to many tourist spots, as well as the Stockbridge market which was a lovely walk along the river. The apartment had everything we required for two adults, and two kids under 5...comfortable beds and living area, and a kitchen with all we needed. The welcome bag was an added treat. Though the hosts weren't present they were very attentive and responded quickly to messages. Will definitely keep this property in mind for subsequent visits and recommend to our friends! Thanks!
Very nice appartment and top located
The appartment is as described, very well equipped, very comfy beds, and very conviniently located, only a short walk away from Princess road. The walkway of the Water of Leith is passing by and leading to wonderful walks along the river.
Perfect! Great Location, Lovely Flat
The location is wonderful, charming village setting away from the hustle of the city but quick easy access to everything. Very clean, comfortable, all the amenities and a thoughtful arrival gift bag. My daughter, daughter-in-law and I enjoyed our time spent in the flat as much as we enjoyed this amazing city. I highly recommend this property.

After a long overnight flight, and Anna being seven months pregnant, it was so nice to arrive at your beautiful flat and just relax for a bit before beginning our adventure. After walking miles every day exploring this great city we loved coming back to the flat.
