Megas Alexandros is in an ideal location if you want a quiet setting with all amenities close by. The beach, shops, upmarket restaurants and nightlife of The Tombs of the Kings area are a short walk away. The pretty harbour, Kato Paphos and the Old Town are just a few minutes drive. The houses are finished to a high specification throughout with granite worktops in the kitchen and a marble staircase. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the master bedroom overlooks the swimming pool, and both rooms have on suite showers. Downstairs the living area leads to a sizable terrace which is ideal for entertaining. This overlooks an attractive swimming pool with bridge and steps for easy access to the shallow end. The beach next to the deluxe Elysium Hotel is a short walk away and water sports can be found at Coral Bay.

About Penny Hird

Hello, We live in Yorkshire in the UK and have owned our House at Megas Alexandros for ten years. We have great holidays there ourselves and go there as often and for as long as we can. Our two children and partners absolutely love it, especially been so close to all the facilities in the area, with beautiful restaurants serving great food in a beautiful climate, what more can any one want. We are very pleased that over the last couple of years many families have rented the apartment and they have told us that they've had a lovely time. It also makes a great escape for couples, and several couples and groups have returned for further holidays.

Megas Alexandros is truly a little gem. The location is perfect; quiet and set back but just as short walk to the coast and all amenities. The houses and development are nothing short of stunning and finished to the highest standard. We were so impressed by the quality of the build in general. Cyprus has one of the longest seasons in the Med which means more sun! Paphos is easy to reach with low cost airlines flying from UK airports. Paphos has something fro everyone; history, golf, water sports, sun, great food, lovely people, it was difficult not to fall for the place. There has been massive investment in the area over the last few years without losing its identity. This is a quality location we can easily visit time and time again and fly to without breaking the bank.

What makes this villa unique

The development is quiet and very relaxed and is extremely convenient for all local amenities and has the benefits of 5* accommodation in the centre of the resort. The amazing weather, dramatic sunsets The Villa is situated just far enough away from the hubbub of Kato Paphos with it's wonderful Taverns and the night life and it's array of bars and eateries to escape any noise but they are both easily accessible on foot.

Notes on accommodation: The Villa has air-conditioning units throughout which double as heaters during the winter months. Children are welcome, cots are available upon request. The house is strictly no smoking, however guests may smoke outside on the terrace area. Cleaned and aired upon departures and arrivals. Outside: The beautiful swimming pool is a major feature on this stunning development. The shared pool is heated in the winter months and there are steps leading to the shallow area for your easy access. The pool is surrounded by well maintained landscaped gardens and you can access the area from the terrace of the house. The sizeable terrace overlooks the pool and is ideal for entertaining and if you wish to dine alfresco. There is patio furniture on the terrace or you can relax on the sun loungers. For your convenience there are changing rooms with wc and showers at the pool. There is a car parking space with additional on road parking. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Clean linen and towels are provided upon arrival not beach towels. Guests can request additional cleaning of the property, linen and towels - price upon request and subject to availability. Other: UK tv is accessed through the internet utilising the android box.

Beautiful pool and appartment

Really lovely spot in Paphos, away from the main tourist strip. Quiet and well appointed. Lovely pool - really made our stay when it was 30 degrees and more! Supermarket 5 mins away by car. Air con cuts out after 2 hrs, so you have to get up night to turn it on again. Bring any herbs, spices, oil etc you need for cooking. Well equipped kitchen otherwise. We would definitely come back here again. Very comfortable for 4 adults.

Lovely House

We had a wonderful holiday in this property, it was well located to access the harbour and shops, but also has some good restaurants, bars and shops close by,

We enjoyed the lovely pool and dining on the spacious sun terrace.

For beach lovers the bus stop to Coral Bay is a short walk to the end of the road. We would happily book this property again.

The beach next to the deluxe Elysium Hotel is about a 5 - 10 minute walk away. Coral Bay caters for water sports and is about 10 - 15 minute drive away by bus.


Paphos is the nearest airport and a 15 - 20 minute drive away from Megas Alexandros costing around 20 Euros by taxi. Larnaca is around 45 minutes drive away. Taxis are readily available at the airports or you can arrange car hire.


Megas Alexandros is central to the lively and historical Tombs of the Kings area. Kato Paphos, its harbour and the Old Town are about a 15 minute walk away or a short taxi/bus ride. Coral beach is about a 10 - 15 minute drive. Nicosia is 1 1/2 hours drive, Larnaca 45 minutes.

Paphos is a year round holiday destination with a long season due to the glorious weather. There is something for everyone: water sports, Aphrodite water park, beaches, historical sites, golf, skiing in the winter, yachting, cruising, horse trekking, fabulous food, friendly locals. Banks, supermarkets, hospital and Internet cafes are all within easy reach. Cypriot law is based on British law and driving is on the left hand side of the road.
