I'm Melanie and Home Farm House is our much loved family holiday home. The family is, Nick, MD of and IT recruitment business and our 5 children - 2 grown up girls, 2 teenage boys and our little 6 year old princess!
We have always been connected to Scalby and Scarborough. I was born and brought up in the village and still have family there. Nick and I were married in St Laurences, the beautiful village church which you can see from Home Farm House.
We have taken our children to Scarborough each summer for the past 22 years and when our expanding family became too large to stay with grandparents we bought Home Farm House.
We have done a lot of work updating and modernising this old farmhouse and invested a lot of time, love and money into making a comfortable, quality holiday home.
Home Farm House is unique in the area with its large private swimming pool which is great for all ages. We leave inflatables for kids and it is also large enough for adults to properly exercise in.
Being our family holiday home we leave plenty of games and books for children and also a play station for older kids.
Based in the centre of the village, just a short walk from a great pub and bistro, and with a real fire for winter and a child friendly large garden for summer, Home Farm House is the perfect family holiday home for all seasons.
