AD Coach House Cottage is a pretty stone built cottage located in a quiet hamlet, but close to local amenities. Grade 2 listed, the cottage is teaming with features such as stone walls, beamed ceilings, stone flagged floors and has been decorated to a high standard. The cottage has recently been refurbished including a new modern fitted kitchen and new carpets throughout the upstairs of the property. The cottage is centrally heated throughout, with an additional cast iron multi-fuel stove in the longue. Free unlimited Wi-Fi usage. Children welcome. Travel cot and highchair available. One well behaved pet welcome. Secure wall mounted bike locks on outside of property. Everything you could want has been provided to make your holiday a comfortable and memorable one. We also have a local housekeeper and caretaker in case of emergencies.

We bought AD Coach House Cottage in 2005 and since then have constantly improved the cottage to make it a comfortable and welcoming holiday home for our clients and our own family. We bought the property because we love this area. Not too far to travel to major attractions and towns and peaceful and scenic. Our children love the cottage and so does our dog, especially when she gets out onto those remote moors near Grinton!
Lovely little cottage supplemented by friendly housekeeper who helped us find a light switch and made sure we were happy with everything. Suited us perfectly and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The local Bridge End pub is also a great example of a lovely local bar... And easily walked too...
I spent a lovely weekend recently in this cosy cottage, very conveniently situated near Reeth. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. We all commented on how comfy the beds were, so you are assured a good nights sleep. I enjoyed looking at the hills in the background when having my morning brew. The Swaledale area never fails to disappoint and I can highly recommend staying in this cottage.

Cycle hire and repair shop, Dales Cycle Centre, is a 1 minute walk from cottage. Guests at AD Coach House Cottage have a 20% discount at the cycle shop. There are excellent walks for all abilities from the door.
Nearest airport, Durham Tees Valley/Leeds Bradford Airport. Estimated travel time is 1 hour from airport. Car essential due to limited public transport within the national park.
Nearest village is Reeth, which is 3/4 mile away and approximately ten minutes walk. Nearest towns are the market towns of Leyburn and Richmond, both of which can be reached by a 15-20 minute car ride.
The cottage is ideally situated in a quiet hamlet, but within short walking distance to nearby villages with facilities. Nearby Reeth has 4 pubs, 2 restaurants and 3 local shops, plus craft and gift shops, Tourist information, ice cream parlour, churches, GP, vet, garage etc are all 1/2 mile or 10 minutes walk away. Nearest pub in Grinton is 5 minutes walk away and has an excellent restaurant. Nearby Richmond has a supermarket, lovely Georgian theatre, cinema, swimming pool, castle and peaceful riverside walks. Places of interest are all within easy reach. Tesco and Asda will also deliver groceries to the cottage. The cottage has a welcome pack giving details of all local facilities, ideas on things to do and things to do/places to visit with children.

Please contact the owners with booking enquiries. A deposit will be required at the time of booking and a booking reference will be supplied. Outstanding amounts are required 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. Payments by BACS, pay pal or cheque all welcome. Written confirmation of holiday will be received including details of how to obtain keys for the property. Please contact the owner with any special requests or queries that you have.
Changeover day is Friday. Arrival after 3pm, departure before 10am.
