Paradise View was completed in September 2008 and is a small complex of 69 flats surrounding the swimming pool area set in landscaped gardens.It is situated in the quiet residential area of Budjaka in Sozopol just 50 metres from secluded rocky coves and within walking distance to the sandy beaches, the old town and the many restaurants and cafes. This penthouse apartment has 2 double bedrooms and 2 balconies with stunning views over the Black Sea and the old town. Wi-Fi is available. There is ample parking and 24 hour security. Just 30km south of Bourgas and it’s international airport, Sozopol has something to offer everyone – wonderful beaches with gently shelving shores, warm clear water and safe bathing, a wealth of historic buildings in the old town, numerous restaurants for al fresco dining offering a choice of traditional and modern dishes, a good night-life in the summer season. It has a busy fishing harbour where fresh fish is plentiful and many boat trips are available.

We are a couple who took early retirement to travel & fell in love with Sozopol when we visited the Black Sea Coast in 2006. We also have a caravan in Spain on the Mediterranean & spend 4 months every year there.

We purchased the apartment in Sozopol because we knew we would spend many holidays there enjoying the climate & surroundings. The cost of living in Bulgaria is significantly less than in the UK & there are many restaurants offering a wide range of cuisine.

Peaceful relaxing location
We chose Sozopol as a quieter place to stay and not particularly geared towards British tourists and found this to be exactly what we were looking for. A large number of Bulgarians come to Sozopol along with Russians, Germans and Scandinavians. The apartment is on the top floor with excellant views from both balconies. There was plenty of room and the amenities were very good with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. There was only one occasion when all the sunbeds were in use by the pool but most of the time there were plenty available. There is a small shop right beside the apartments which has all basics and a further two supermarkets further along the road. The centre of the new town is a 30 minute walk away with the old town a further 15 minutes away. We really enjoyed walking around the old town after our evening meal and there was entertainment in the outdoor theatre most evenings. There are plenty of shops, market stalls and fantastic restaurants where you can eat really cheaply. The standard of food was excellant and our favourite was Urani Bistro although a bit difficult to find it is worth it. We would certainly recommend both the apartment and Sozopol and we had a lovely relaxing holiday.
We have holidayed many times in Sozopol , but the first time in the area of Boudjaka and it was a really nice surprise. The apartment is lovely and well maintained, and so is the whole complex. We had a beautiful sea view to enjoy every morning when we woke up. The area is nice and quiet, although a bit further away from the busy town centre and the beach , but we had a car and it wasn't a problem. It's about 1/2 h walk to Sozopol. The owners were extremely helpful and communication with them was great. We forgot my husband's jacket and they even arranged for the guests after us to bring it back to the uk and post it to us. Sozopol is a great place for a family holiday ESP with young children and we will definitely be going again, possibly staying in the same apartment if available. Can't fault it.
Apartment in sozopol
This is a nice modern two bedroomed apartment on the top/third floor of a well kept development some 3kms from the centre of Sozopol. It has a very nice pool and well maintained gardens. The cleaning service is good and there is a very convenient shop across from the development where you can buy every day items such as milk, bread, fruits etc.
The apartment is in good condition though one slightly irritating matter was that the intercom system to the ground floor entrance door was not working but I believe this was the case for all the apartments. Parking is somewhat limited but there was ample street parking too.
The apartment has a nice seaview and the complex was quiet and restful.
Overall a pleasant place to stay in.
It was an excellent equipped apartment over looking the sea well cared for and regular cleaned each day
First Time to Sozopol
This apartment was absolutely spotless, lovely position and didn't feel like a 'holiday let' it looked and felt like a 'home'. The view from one of the balconies was breathtaking, looking out over the blue sea, rocks and clifts - just lovely. The apartment is in a fairly quiet location and as we are two 50 somethings, this is just what we want. It is kitted out to perfection, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and all the kitchen utensils you would need if you wanted to cook, (personally I don't go on holiday to cook!) we just used the kettle and fridge. There isn't a huge amount of restaurant's within walking distance (which is what we like to do) but the one's that were were lovely and most are very reasonable with the cheapest restaurant wine we've come across in Europe. There are absolutely loads of restuarants in the main town if you want to drive or get a taxi. We didn't much care for the main town which is where the main beach is, it was a bit to busy for us so we drove a short distance in the opposite direction to some more quite and secluded beaches - perfect.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment or location as you could have whatever type of holiday you wanted, i.e. quiet and relaxed (like us) or a lot more lively if you wanted.
Coast/Beach: The apartment is 100 metres from the coast. Sozopol has 2 sandy beaches: Harmani Beach is 15 minutes walk away & has gently shelving shores with safe bathing in clear, warm water. Central Beach is 25 minutes walk away & is adjacent to the Old Town with it's numerous bars & restaurants. Both beaches have lifeguards in high season & have sunbeds & parasols for hire. There are numerous beaches further along the coast within a few minutes drive. Travel: Sozopol is 40 km from Bourgas International Airport. Car Hire & Taxis are available at the airport or airport transfer can be arranged if preferred. Car Hire is also available in Sozopol. Pre-booked car hire is recommended to explore the area & appreciate all that the Black Sea coast has to offer. Distances: Sozopol Old Town - 20 minute walk. Bourgas - 40 minutes drive. Nessebar and Sunny Beach - 75 minute drive. Ropotomo River - 30 minute drive. Further Details: There is a supermarket in Sozopol providing all necessary items & some cooked food.There is also a small shop opposite selling basic items. There are several banks in Sozopol & many ATM's. The Old Town has numerous restaurants, some perched on rocky cliffs overlooking the island of St Ivan, & offer all types of cuisine at very reasonable prices. The busy fishing harbour has floating restaurants & various sea trips are available. The ancient atmosphere of the Old Town is fed by cobbled streets where the women sit & chat whilst making lace & selling their jam. There are many traditional wooden Bulgarian houses - 180 of them listed by the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture for their historic & cultural importance. At the beginning of September each year the town hosts the big Apolonia International Art Festival which attracts artists & art lovers from all over the world. The Ropotomo river is a short drive away & trips are available to view the variety of birds & fish that inhabit the region.

Booking Notes: Booking is via a £100 non-returnable deposit for rental periods of less than 4 weeks. A 10% deposit is required for a rental period of more than 4 weeks. The balance is due no later than 6 weeks prior to departure. The booking will be provisionally held for a period of 10 days. If the deposit is not received after this time, the apartment will become available again. Changeover Day: Changeover days are flexible. Arrival after 4.00 pm & departure before 11.00 am unless agreed by prior arrangement. Notes on prices: Rentals of less than 7 days will be charged pro rata. An additional sum of £ 30.00 will be charged for cleaning.
