About Mrs Lucia Morgan
Lucia and Philip Morgan. We are the proud owners of Crunwere House. We have spent the last 12 years tastefully restoring it into a home which we enjoy spending quality time with our family. Last year we decided to let others enjoy our home and its tranquil surroundings having completed the restoration of the property and its grounds.
Mrs Lucia Morgan purchased this House in 1999
Why Mrs Lucia Morgan chose Narberth
We fell in love with this property 12 years ago, even though it had been neglected. It was a big challenge and we were very keen to restore Crunwere House to its former glory and keeping or restoring all its original features. Turning Crunwere House into a sustainable low carbon dwelling has been our main goal. Having carried out extensive restoration works to the property the fossil fuelled (oil) boiler was replaced with an efficient ground source heat pump. Using a smaller amount of electricity generated from a modest wind turbine that we have erected on adjacent farmland we now have continuous heating to Crunwere House which helps to preserve the fabric and fittings of this beautiful property.

What a lovely house with loads of space for the whole family. Was a party of 9 adults to celebrate fathers birthday.
Good location for Saundersfoot , Tenby etc.
Lucia recommended some nice places to eat . Martha’s kitchen being one place where they serve a good Sunday lunch .
Thank you for sharing your house.
Lovely big family space
Great stay at Crunwere House. More space than we could use! Loads of room to escape the kids for a bit of peace and quiet. Lovely and cosy. Massive garden and close to some brilliant beaches.
Lovely house, lovely area. We've stayed here a number of times now and are never dissapointed
Lovely (and big!) house for a lovely holiday
We had a great time here (and none of us wanted to leave). We brought 5 adults, 4 kids and a dog and there was plenty of room for all of us.
Inside had everything we needed (and some to spare): Well appointed kitchen. 2 sitting rooms. The jigsaw room (actually a dining room, but we ate in the kitchen/breakfast room). Lots of room to relax without people being on top of one another.
Outside, the garden was great for playing and barbecuing in (and the driveway is perfect for roller skating!)
Lucia was friendly and helpful and inconspicuous. In short, the perfect host.
It's the ideal house for a (big, extended) family getaway. I hope we'll be back one day...
return visit and so happy to be back
This is a proper home from home, we have visited many times and it always meets expectations and more. Plenty of space for our 4 generations family to enjoy.
Fabulous Victorian house set in 2 acres of land in a beautiful Pembrokeshire location
We stayed at Crunmere House for six nights with our family and their partners to celebrated our Ruby anniversary in July. The house is a Grade II listed former rectory, with four generous bedrooms, two of which are en-suite. In addition there is one small double bedroom and a separate bathroom. On the ground floor there is a grand dining room, lounge, snug, kitchen with family room off, and also a wonderful conservatory overlooking the lawn. There is also a toilet and shower on the ground floor..
The house accommodated the nine of us in total comfort, and its location provided quick and easy access to the wonderful beaches at Pendine, Amroth, Wiseman's Bridge, Tenby and Saundersfoot. Manorbier, Freshwater East, Barafundle Bay, Pembroke. Narberth and Haverfordwest are equally accessibl;e. The similarly wonderful beaches and stunning coastline of West and North Pembrokeshire are also easily accessible from Llanteg.
Crunmere House affords a wonderful opportunity for large groups to enjoy a glimpse of the past, fine, Victorian family life, tempered by the technological comforts of the 20th Century such as heating by ground source heat pump and electricity by wind turbine. The space and home comforts provided by Crunmere House very quickly intoxicate its residents with a heady potion of calm and relaxation. It is the ideal antidote to the hectic 21st Century, a haven of peace and tranquility: heddwch, perffaith heddwch!!
