About Mrs Lucia Morgan

Lucia and Philip Morgan. We are the proud owners of Crunwere House. We have spent the last 12 years tastefully restoring it into a home which we enjoy spending quality time with our family. Last year we decided to let others enjoy our home and its tranquil surroundings having completed the restoration of the property and its grounds.

Mrs Lucia Morgan purchased this house in 1999

Why Mrs Lucia Morgan chose Narberth

We fell in love with this property 12 years ago, even though it had been neglected. It was a big challenge and we were very keen to restore Crunwere House to its former glory and keeping or restoring all its original features.

Turning Crunwere House into a sustainable low carbon dwelling has been our main goal. Having carried out extensive restoration works to the property the fossil fuelled (oil) boiler was replaced with an efficient ground source heat pump. Using a smaller amount of electricity generated from a modest wind turbine that we have erected on adjacent farmland we now have continuous heating to Crunwere House which helps to preserve the fabric and fittings of this beautiful property.

Beautiful house in a beautiful part of the world

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay, the house is large but homely with period decoration throughout and probably the best appointed we have ever stayed in. It is located in a quiet rural setting and well positioned for getting around Pembrokeshire and neighbouring areas. Excellent value for money and we would definitely stay again.

What a lovely home: spacious, comfortable and full of character

  • 5 of 5

I rented Crunwere House so that the family could get together for the weekend. Everyone loved it there: the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the owner has furnished it like a real home with pictures and objects that have been carefully chosen. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable, plus there is lots of room for sitting together and also places to hideaway if you want to read quietly. I'm sure we'll try to find another excuse to return there before long.

A wonderful home

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely break in this wonderful home.

The house itself is spacious, well equipped and very homely, with beautiful gardens and scenery.

Lucia was an extremely welcoming host and made sure that everything was perfect, right down to providing a welcome basket of biscuits and sweets (which the children especially loved).

As a family ranging in age from 22 months to 69 years old, Crunwere House provided a great holiday home, with plenty of space for the grandparents to escape the grandchildren when needed.

We would highly recommend this home (and have done so already to other family members and friends) and would love to visit again.
