My name is Judith and I live near Winchester with my Husband and 2 children.
I had my first holiday in Marloes at the age of 6 months and have so many happy memories of wonderful family hoildays there ever since.
We are now enjoying creating those same experiences for our family.
Owning Kilhay is our dream and we hope to one day be able to be there permanently. In the meanwhile, we spend as much time there as we can and hope that others will also enjoy the magic the Pembrokeshire coast can offer.
'Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your lovely holiday home. We had a wonderful few days and packed a lot of sightseeing into a short time. The real bonus was seeing the seals and pups! Many thanks.'
'Thought Kilhay was fantastic for children and was very pleased to see all the toys and books left there. Also liked the fact that the back garden was very secure with the side gates.'
A lovely cottage in a picturesque town minutes from stunning beaches. The cottage is much bigger than we thought, with a playroom and toys all on site. The kitchen is really well equipped which made cooking family meals really easy, with a view and access to the garden. We were really comfortable and will be back!
Wonderful holiday, house perfect as always!😄
Enjoyed out stay here very much. Peaceful, spacious, light and very well-equipped, the perfect place for exploring the Pembroke coastline
Kilhay is a wonderful cottage, comfortable, clean and very well equipped. My husband and I like our space and we certainly were not disappointed!
The highlight for me was being able to sit at the kitchen table with the patio doors open, watching loads of birds squabble at the bird feeders while completing one of the excellent puzzles provided. We also saw bats and a fox in the garden almost every day at dusk.
We visited various places locally and slightly further afield - Skomer island was definitely the highlight, but Marloes Sands, Musslewick Sands and Broad Haven were all lovely too. The one downside of Marloes village is that the pub doesn't have a great atmosphere so was not somewhere to settle down for an evening - having said that we did eat there once and the food was fine.
I will definitely be booking another stay at Kilhay as soon as I can and recommend it to all.
We spent 4 nights here while walking stretches of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path which is just .5 mile from Marloes. The house is comfortable, quiet, and has all of the amenities to make this a good landing point for walkers. There is a very small store in Marloes but to do any significant shopping is a 20 minute drive. So for most visitors a car is essential. We enjoyed the pub down the street but most everything we did involved driving to get there (Dale, Solva, etc.).
Flexible sleeping arrangements suited our extended family group perfectly. Very well equipped and generous, with lots of personal touches, which helped us to relax thoroughly. Clifftop walks, seal spotting, swimming and star gazing from the pitch black night garden. Thank you Judith for a warm welcome and responding promptly to our enquiries. Complete satisfaction!
