Rarely do countryside villas have such stunning views of the coastline as Villa Fioretto. This beautiful villa is immersed in the Southern Italian countryside and looks out over acres of verdant olive groves, all the way to the Adriatic Sea. The architecture of the house has been designed to reflect the local style, with a fresh feel. The stone archways around the panoramic sun terraces create a stylish shaded dining area for lazy breakfasts and long lunches. The 8x4m swimming pool is perfect for cooling off in the heat of the summer. The many sandy beaches of the Puglian coast are easily reached from Villa Fioretto – just a picturesque drive through the olive groves. The famous White City of Ostuni is a short distance away and visitors can enjoy a wide selection of restaurants and bars among its beautiful cobbled streets. Even closer is the town of Carovigno, completely untouched by tourism and offering excellent home-cooked cuisine and also a noted gourmet restaurant.

Why NIGEL PRATT chose Carovigno
When we first came to Italy it was not our intention to build a villa; however, our Estate Agent 'Luigi' showed us this beautiful piece of land that we fell in love with straight away. There are spectacular views of the sea; we have fig, almond trees and Olive trees that stretch as far as the eye can see all the way to the coast. The villa is quite secluded, and sits in 8,000 sqm which means it is very tranquil and private. The nearest town is Carovigno which is 3km by car. This part of Italy, (Puglia) is still unspoilt and this was one of the reasons we fell in love with the town. Ostuni (the white city) is only 8km away, and is very busy with shops, restaurants and bars. Both towns are open all year around, so even if you visit out of peak season there is still lots to do.
What makes this Villa unique
Villa Fioretto is very spacious, and the vaulted ceilings add to the character. Whilst the villa is secluded, it is only a short distance to the Adriatic sea and the small fishing village of 'Santa Sabina'. The property is on one level, and every room has patio doors which open up out onto the pool area and the fantastic views of the sea. The Blue Flag Guide for 2013 has been published, listing the Foundation for Environmental Education’s approved beaches. Their criteria are based around Environmental Education and Information; Water Quality; Environmental Management and Safety and Services. Puglia has ten beaches that have won a Blue Flag, two of them within 20 minutes of Villa Fioretto, Camerini Creta Rossa, Costa Merlata Torre Pozzelle and Lido Morelli Rosa Marina.

Villa Fiorreti - A beautiful find!
From the moment we picked this villa for a big birthday celebration we knew it was going to be good. Nigel and Mel were great hosts and made sure things were perfect for us on our arrival, even down to a welcome Puligian wine bottle or two!
Outside, the villa we discovered the 180 degree view of the Adriatic Sea was stunning by day but even more beautiful at sunset. We used the different areas of the garden to relax, chill, and dine in, including the BBQ area, and Nigel and Mel's favourite sofa under the pergola for cool sunset drinks. The pool area is large, very well kept and at the time we were there was 26 deg C.
San Sabina and many more local beaches are 10 - 15 minutes by car and the local town of Carovigno with its local bakeries, fruit, cheese, and fish shop is just 3km away. It also has 2 larger supermarkets and lots of good restaurants which is all in "Nigel's and Mels" guide to the villa and surrounding area
All the pictures in the descriptions of this villa are as it really is.
Bedrooms are a really good size and the kitchen is very well equipped with a very large fridge, gas hob, freezer, and oven. Bathrooms are finished well and have really good flowing showers and lots of hot water if needed.
Thank you Nigel and Mel for making my birthday a very memorable one.
We had a lovely two weeks in this very peaceful and secluded villa, set in olive tree groves, with views over the sea. The villa was finished to a high quality with a very spacious open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room. The three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms all over-looking the pool. The owners, Nigel and Mel were very helpful at making us feel welcome and providing ideas about things to do in the area and provided us with a delicious welcome pack including their own locally pressed olive oil! You will need a car. The nearby town of Caravigno is only ten minutes away and is charming, it provided all every day needs and delicious local Puglia produce. There are some excellent local restaurants. We highly recommend this villa.
July 2016 Villa Review
We had a wonderful holiday at the villa - perfect position very quiet but just a short drive to everything you need.
Really appreciated the breeze that the villa receives every day - keeps thing cool and fresh especially on hotter days.
Nigel the villa owner was friendly and attentive and we appreciated the fact that he was very local to the villa should we require any help.
We can completely recommend this villa to any future guests thinking of staying in this part of Italy.

wonderful stay in a villa with stunnings views
We've just had a great week in this lovely villa surrounded by mature Olive trees and wonderful views. This is a well equipped villa with a gorgeous pool, immaculately presented. The owners Mel and Nigel could not have been more helpful and welcoming , leaving some v tasty cakes, baked at the local Chocolate Cafe in Caravigno (really amazing cakes and good coffee) for us on arrival. Lots of interesting places to see in the area plus the sea side near by, we didn't want to leave. Recommended! Jo, Chris,Liv and Fin
Beautiful villa and location
Really enjoyed a fantastic week at this lovely villa. The villa is very well equipped and maintained with magnificent views towards the coast. It is situated in a quiet rural area and easily accessible to lovely beaches and characterful towns. We would return without any hesitation and appreciated the low key generous hospitality of the owners Nigel & Melanie.
Absolutely stunning location and a beautiful villa
This is our second stay and we will be back. The villa is beautiful, well maintained, well equipped and in a fabulous location overlooking the sea.
Carovigno has everything from fresh fish and pasta to fantastic churches and architecture - and it's just 20 mins from Ostuni and 10 mins from the sea.
Mel and Nigel are great hosts and always on call if you need anything.
We couldn't recommend a stay here more highly.
